Harry Reid won't pass a budget. The Senate has not sniffed one in the last four years .... unprecedented. Why is he not reaching out?


And as far as Obama, he said in his acceptance speech he would reach out. He said that of course when he got elected the first time. We are still waiting. We shall see this time around, but we all remain doubtful.

BTW... roughly a little less than 120 million Americans voted out of a population of well over 300 million (some say 330 million). So basically less than half the country, more specifically around 25% of the country, made a decision for the other 75%. Not enough people care evidently. And yet another example of no mandate. If anything it is a mandate for Obama to finally get to work and quit playing golf.

So......for example, a 10-1 ratio of spending cuts to raised revenue, which President Obama offered, would not have started addressing our debt and moved our nation forward? The Republicans refused. Why? Ideals? Founding principles? LOL. That's funny. They simply made the choice of not giving the President a positive. Even though the majority of those cuts would have came to entitlment programs which they believe to be the scurge of our society. That 1-10 of raised revenue, which would have been on the nations most wealthy, simply returning back to the horrible Clinton years, you know when our economy was booming and our nation had a surplus, OH THE HORROR! It was obstruction for political gain. Our countries progress didn't matter. SIMPLE FACT!

The Republicans did the OPPOSITE of their jobs and America recognized and spoke to it. SIMPLE AS THAT!

I have voted Republican. I didn't vote a straight Democratic ticket yesterday! There goes another one of your non-facts.

The Republican party ONLY has themselves to blame for yesterdays election. If you and the party you champion as the gospel doesn't see that, you will continue to cast a losing vote and the Republican party will continue to marginalize itself. The fact that you would choose for our politicains to not work together, to not compromise, to hold party above all else, just shows what a complete ass you are.
