As a nation, we need to take advantage of all our natural resources to spur economic growth, create jobs and reduce the country’s dependence on foreign oil. First, we should allow more access to oil, natural gas and coal opportunities on federal lands.

Well let's back that up. Cruize says, or more rightly his propaganda states we will become the worlds top oil and gas producer.

Well DUH!

I'd like to introduce you all to the sky. That's that big patch of empty over your head.

Now, what Cruize and his agenda don't want to recognize is that this will happen through free enterprise, not Government drilling or leasing.

Because, you see Cruize, leasing of government land for drilling is down under Obama. The policies put in place that are responsible for increased production were implemented by his predecessor.

PRIVATE drilling in Alaska, Texas, and North Dakota, as examples, is up. WAY up. Key word here Cruize, if you made it this far, is PRIVATE.

Let's look at what Obama has to say on the subject, shall we?

Drilling on federal land is down 36 percent under Oh-Bahma.

And getting permits for off shore drilling in the gulf is akin to pulling teeth under Obama. Anybody think Obama's Keystone pipeline decision rocked? His policies post moratorium have over-regulated the process and platforms are going elsewhere. Rigs in the gulf? 40%. That's compared to EIGHTY percent globally and NINETY-SIX percent in Europe. TTHHAATTSS RIGHT. Obama is under-performing by nearly HALF. Anyone curious about what "cap and trade" would have done? Oh-Bhama supported that by the way. BIG TIME supported it. Oh, and he wants to tax gas and oil TWENTY-SEVEN BILLION over the next 10 years. Who do we think will be paying that particular bill?

Cap and Trade? Hmmmm. Here's what Obama said during his first run on a visit to uber-liberal San Francisco:



NNIICCEEE huh? His plan was to use cap and trade to penalize coal plants into oblivion and use that money to invest in 'green' energy. Cap and trade failed, so Obama used OUR money, and subsequently lost it by the billions, on 'green' energy.

Oh and by the way, Saudi Arabia is forecast to overtake the United States about 5 years after we obtain the title. But our friend Cruize doesn't even understand how that's possible. HE probably thinks we're going to overtake the middle east because Obama is drilling and the Arabs are running out.

Nothing could be further from the truth, but let's not let facts get in the way of our agenda. That's no kind of fun.

And lets not get too excited. Likely yes. Absolute no. And don't expect the price for a gallon to go down. Big government will tax the piss out of it at every opportunity. See Europe for more on all that.
