SO key. Firearm MURDERS per 100k in population is essentially the same in California where gun laws are fairly restrictive as they are in Texas where gun laws are much less restrictive.

But the Libs don't talk about murder. There is no delineation, quite on purpose, because they don't care. For them it isn't about the facts it's about the agenda.

Like Danno, I'm not a gun owner. I grew up around them however. My best friend's dad was a Captain in the Louisiana State Troopers. Another of my best friend's dad was the Chief of Police in the town I grew up in, and as I've mentioned I grew up on a military base - my dad was an MP (Military Police). My step dad and brother and nearly all of my friends were (and still are) avid hunters - I just like to fish.

In all of my 43 years I've seen only ONE irresponsible act with a gun...in the parking lot of a bar. Just one. I don't like guns...necessarily, but like Danno I'm considering the purchase of one and might pursue a CC permit.

And whether I like guns or not, the 2nd amendment was put there for valid reasons - reasons that are still valid today, only our citizens don't have the moxy to do what is required of them.

You hit the nail on the head... Liberal legislation is typically centered around likes and dislikes.

OMFG I dream of a day where I can decide what music is played on the air based on what I like or dislike.

And what the hell does this mean and can you show proof to make your statement valid?

Just as soon as I start to think I could like you, you go and type something as absurd as that.
