Imho that will always happen to a society over time when you have a separation of church and state. I can see the same pattern in my own country.

Where, who, what , how, when, why do we pick and choose one Church?

For point of discussion only, when anyone brings this up about we need to follow God and the church, I agree and always say yes. The Roman Catholic Church, the Catholic faith of the ture church, the real and original church should be followed and we need to get back to that .

History . Settlers here from England were Protestant thanks to Henry wanting AnnieB.
He and they were Catholic or not rid of the Catholic Church as a faith followed there.
Lutheran, Mormonisn, etc. all of shoots of those breaking from the Catholic Church. You know the rest and oh boy, it gets really heated at that point. Hey, I say research the Protestants' Faiths, because you have several and the Catholic Church which is still just one. There is no Roman Catholic Baptist. Roman Catholic Southern Baptist. Catholic Mormon. Catholic Santified. Anglican -Catholic , etc.

I do see Danno's point. A faith, God , family, values, morals, good judgement is getting more and more lost these days.

I also say, if you don't believe in God , follow a faith, fine. One can still have values, morals, good judgement .


Me, I don't care if you follow a faith or not. The other things, we have can have and keep and get back to as a whole in society.
I have friends who are of different faiths. I don't shoot anyones' faith down or lack of a faith, but I refuse to have anyone knock down the Catholic faith either. I get that a lot from some people I know who uhhhhh, they don't like the Catholic faith.

As our country was founded, I get understand what you mean Oak.
Be Roman Catholic, Anglican, Santified, Quaker, Amish, Buddist, etc.

When Political leaders, start doing not what is the will of the people but the will of THEIR "higher power", it scares the living crap out of me.

Look at from this prospective, Obama could ... Crap, why am I going future tense. Obama HAS not delivered on any one promise and failed on many levels. His voters, congregation/zealots continue to back him and vote him into office.

It's blind faith, same thing as Christianity, except when people start having that sort of blind faith in another person you end up with Charles Manson, David Carreche.......
