Utah smoothie bar owner charges liberals $1 extra per drink

A juice and smoothie bar owner in Utah is charging liberals an extra dollar for drinks.
George Burnett, owner of I Love Drilling Juice & Smoothie Bar, says he's trying to make a point about fiscal responsibility.

“We have a fiscal problem in this country. We’ve got to deal with it or we don’t have a country, so to kind of help make that point, just a little bit, I charge liberals just a little bit more. Really what I’m focused on is the fiscal differences between big government/small government and liberal ways, as far as entitlements and spending,” said Burnett, in a KSL.com report.
Burnett says the extra money will go to support the conservative Washngton-based think tank, The Heritage Foundation.
Burnett, also a pro-oil and gas activist, plainly lists prices for his drinks, with colorful names like Drakes Well, Oil Creek and Old American. Conservatives: $4.95, Liberals: $5.95, and Crew Team Members: $3.95.
Not all are finding his "liberal tax" sweet tasting. Some have criticized the move on Facebook saying it is "pathetic" and "offensive." One user, Justin Olson, wrote: “If you own a business, you don’t insult half of your potential customers. That’s Econ 101.”
But many don't appear to mind the extra charge.
Another user Splinter Baker wrote: "I LOVE what you're doing! Never back down! keep it up!

That's certainly a tax increase I can support.

Let's call it the drone tax.

"Owner George Burnett says liberal policies are bankrupting our country, so he wants to raise money for conservative causes."

-Clearly this guy is not very bright, The country is being bankrupted by BOTH parties. You see the way a bill becomes law is it gets passed by both houses of Congress and signed by the President. You need BOTH parties. So like when we invaded Iraq and Afghanistan or bailed out the Auto industry or the Financial industry it was both parties.

To further show how little this guy has on the shelf he said "the extra money will go to support the conservative Washngton-based think tank, The Heritage Foundation."

So here's a question... the Healthcare Individual Mandate in "Obamacare" was thought up by what conservative think-tank? The HERITAGE FOUNDATION... No wonder this country is trouble...

Nope. You need "Congress". You do NOT need "both parties". For further education and enlightenment, see Obamacare. Have a nice day...

If you want to change the way our Government manages this Country, you need to change the voters who put those people in office.

Impossible you say? Democrats are doing a very good job of changing voters, that is how they keep getting elected.

First you make the people needy, then you make them believe they need you.

How does he know which of his customers are liberals?

Maybe he has someone watching the cars that people drive and the ones with an Obama sticker get the tax!

Ahh so when Burnett says "Really what I’m focused on is the fiscal differences between big government/small government" he wasn't actually talking about government... And although "liberal" and "conservative" are political ideologies associated with the two dominant political parties in America, he still wasn't referring to them... Glad you sorted that out... pffftt....
