The Conservative portion of this Country needs to start taking a proactive approach to getting their message across.

Conservatives debate guns, abortion, etc from a reactive posture and defend beliefs from attackers.

Why are we not taking issues to liberals and let them defend them selves against their own arguments for a change.

1. Abortion has been argues by liberals as a way to protect people from them selves and by keeping it legal it stops the back ally dangerous abortions.

Presently in America because of the fear that guns and high capacity magazines will be banned, tens of thousands of Americans are meeting in parking lots, alleys, back roads to buy and sell guns.

This translates to the following scenario: Someone is going to meet someone he has never met with $1k-$2k in his pocket, in an area that will not draw attention to the meeting. The person he is going to meet has at least 1 gun on him.

2. Obama and liberals want t talk jobs saved by the present administration.

Lets talk lives saved, crimes stopped by gun ownership and start collecting and publicizing that data.

Why are we arguing that guns are not evil and not arguing that guns are good.

The problem is that Conservatives are working to provide for their families and really don't have time to spend screaming bloody murder about whats happening.

Liberals scream bloody murder because they're defending their means of survival... other people's money.

They also are obsessed with their desire to force their beliefs on everyone else and Big Government is the easiest way to achieve it.

Its their religion, and they'll support it 24-7-365.

Then it is time for Conservatives to work in a manor that provides value.

Proving that we work for what we keep and lazy people work the hardest for nothing.

We need to work smart, not more.

Agreed, but we aren't skilled at it yet. I was encouraged by the TEA party movement, but thats just a start. We need to hone our skills.

It also hurts that the media is in the tank for Liberals so anything Liberals do bad is ignored and anything Conservatives do or say that can be twisted into being perceived as bad is magnified.

Its similar to playing a football game in which every referee is on the take and determined to ensure your defeat.

I agree

I've been trying to hammer these points into every liberal I know, and some who I don't know. It's always met with excuses and the good ol' "I wasn't talking about that, I was talking about this" line. Our arguments directly toward the government, itself, go unheard. We need someone other than Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity to get the point across. Conservative politicians aren't showing enough collective balls.

So anytime a conservative here are there speaks up, he's made out to be a freak. I don't know what they're afraid of. Liberals are scared to death of losing power, and it's why they'll do anything, portray anything, to get what they want. They know they don't have truth on their side.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
