Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages...

These next 2 posts I'm about to show you represent probably 75% of the posters on this forum, and their fair-weathered, and sometimes extreme, attitudes about our beloved Saints:

This guy is ready to put us in the NFC Championship game, and even a Super Bowl (!!!) after a 3 point victory over Carolina...

But let's evaluate things after Monday night:

I really think we need to trade immediately for another QB, Hell trade Brooks for Delhomme or Harrington anyone just someone new. Hell get Bledsoe or Dilfer and Carney needs to be sent packing. He missed a very important extra point after the relay last year and we should have had his head then. Yes he kicked the game winning field goal last week but lets not forget thats his job and these guys are paid alot of money not to make mistakes which I don't think any of them understand.
Suddenly, he has no sympathy for what is likely a severe injury to Michael Lewis, and he wants us to get right of our QB immediately (???), as well as cutting probably the most clutch kicker we've ever had that wasn't named Morten Anderson.

By the way.....I can live with Carney missing an extra point against Jacksonville in a meaningless game (yeah I know we had some SLIM playoff hopes heading into that game, but our "help" that afternoon didn't pan out either, so even with a victory we'd have been S.O.L.) and miss a short field goal in a game against the Giants where the outcome was about 95% certain, as long as he continues nailing clutch game winning field goals when we need them.
