week 2's trend...

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I still don't see how NYG is a favorite in this game. They were trash last year with Eli. I'mnot saying they're not going to win. I'm just saying how can Vegas be so sure? And 3 points at that?...

RE: week 2

If we can run Duece all over them and the D can keep Tiki Torch from lighting them up...then we'll win.

Their D is decent. When our offense is clicking, we're good. But how many times have you seen that? The bigger question is how good is our D and can we shut them down?

The Saints have covered their last five games and have also covered nine of their last 11 (and 12 of their last 15) road contests. … New Orleans is 8-1 against the number in its last nine contests as a dog and has covered its first road game in six of the last seven seasons. … The Giants have covered their last four games but are 4-15-1 in their last 20 contests as a home favorite. … Of New York’s last six games, five have gone over the total.
Interesting. I'm not a betting man. But if I were and just goin' into it blind, I'd probably go under. What's that total, just for fun?

I'm a betting man and I'm putting my money on over. Last week was a good week... both the Giants and Saints covered. Not to mention Pittsburg game went over and Indy won. It feels great starting the season off with a bang. Refugees need money and I got to make money somehow. :P

I can definately see Tiki with 2 touchdowns and Eli throwing for one. Our offense always manages to put up around 20 points or more.

Good to see you back in the swing of things, papz. On a side note. The possibility of conference #3's may land 'Noles and Tigers facing each other in a bowl. Hope not for each of us. We'll get together later on that one. Still curious what the over/under is for Saints this week.

Take care. 8)

I took the Saints and the 3 for $100.00 and would probably put more on it but I don't want to tick off the wifey.
