Salt in the Wound

It's bad enough that the Saints played poorly last night but why did we have to listen to those three yutz's calling the game? Those guys are the worst. Macguire and Theismann kill it. Did anyone else hear Macguire say that McAllister isn't very fast and and not very strong?

I'm so glad that this is their last year together although we'll have to hear Theismann every Sunday (or is it Monday) night with Madden after this year.

RE: Salt in the Wound

I was happy to see Sterling Sharpe calling one of the games... hopefully we'll see more of him. Madden is Captain Obvious and the other guys always mix up names.

RE: Salt in the Wound

Was that Maguire or Mike Patrick? Maguire seems pretty on the ball. Patrick grates on me to no end. I honestly wonder with as many mental errors as he makes during a single telecast, whether or not the boy was lobotomized. My favorite from last night was the penalty on the punt, and they were discussing whether the Giants should take the 5 yards or if they should force the Saints to re-kick. Patrick hit us with the, "I would take the five yards," was interrupted by Maguire, who stated very promptly that they should re-kick, and Patrick came back with, "I meant if I was the coach of the other team." Hey genious, Haslett has no say in the call. He made countless other mistakes last night that had me grinding my teeth.

The waiting drove me mad....
I don't want to hear from those that know...

I thought I was spelling Maguire wrong. It looked weird.

On topic: It may have been Patrick's comments. I thought it sounded like Maguire.
What bothers me most about this trio is the weak arguing between Maguire and Theismann. Most of the time you can tell that it has been scripted and all of the time it's cheesy. And some of their arguments rival the arguments on this board. That's bad.

All of them were a joke. Not five minutes after they ssaid Deuce did not have enough speed to turn the corner he did it and went twenty yards or so on a short pass. Thanks Deuce...

I hate to say BUT Deuce has lot some of his speed. His 1st two years when he ran he didn't have to look back when he broke pass the lb now he just don't have that speed anymore. I don't know if it his conditioning or the injury bug or some of both.
