We should have offered that to Saban last year. Also Amac must start now. We are already two games behind the Bucs and can't afford to lose our first home game to the Bills next week.

Forget Weis....ND beat an overrated Michigan and Pitt...and Washington. Ohh wow.

I'd rather Linehan from Miami or Kubiak from Denver....college Bob Stoops.

If you think that with our running game, offensive line, and special (really special :dunce: ) teams playing the way they are A-Mac would probably insure us of the 1st pick in the draft.

hey golden tomb they are putting up like 500 yards a game. i am a nd fan so watching them the last few years under willingham the o was always out of sink. much like ours. wehn they scored it seemed to be by accident much like us. dude thier o is efficeint. man they aren't going to win the national championship but they are so much improved. if you wouldn't take weis your crazy. the guy from miami is a nice choice also though.

Well it's not that i wouldn't take Weis...it's just that he isn't a realistic option. If we had our choice of any coach regardless of if i think he would/could come here. i would pick Saban or Belicheck...then Weis.

nothing wrong with that golden. hyelook at san fran too. they are putting the beating on dallas. dude even look at the browns and the job that guy is doing there. they aren't great by any means but they are playing so much better. they would beat us

Well we are not going to get Saban or Weis. We missed the boat on that one. Stoops? I don't about him, not too sure he could do anything for us. However I do agree he would be better than Hazbeen. I am by no means an Alabama fan but what about Mike Shula. I do know who we need as a Defensive coord though. Coach Nix, former DC for Southern Miss and now at South Carolina. Southern Miss may not have a great offense but the defense has been outstanding for over 14 years. Just my thought.

Dear God save us from ourselves!!!!!!!

It was time to start thinking about our next head coach LAST FRIGGIN SEASON! Our team is averaging more than 10 penalties a game. Where does that come from? Poor coaching. Look at the teams with the best coaches, those are the teams who never get penalties. You also have to consider that we have Joe Horn and Deuce McAllister, and we can't move the damn ball. Also, our player progression is absolutely awful. Teams with great coaches can turn mediocre players into great ones with great coaching. Haslett and Co. are awful. I was totally pissed last year when we didn't let him go. He demands no discipline from this team and it shows on the field.

Haslett must go. Anybody but this guy would be better.

Also, the rest of the coaches suck and should be fired, especially Venturi. Anyways, that's all I have to say about that.

Look at what Saban has done in Miami just by teaching discipline. Imagine what it would have done for this team. Wow.

saintswhodi 09-26-2005 03:56 PM

When I called for Saban last year, I was blasted as a homer. Not by you who, just saying. My how 3 games changes everything.

chRxis 09-26-2005 05:07 PM

i agree with the fact that saban has been able to come in and win a couple due just to discipline, something this team desperately needs and never has had... i think haslett would be a good coach if he had some discipline but it's too late for that... i'm not sure about stoops, look at the sooners... he won with talent ladened teams... i'm more of a fan of bringing in someone who already has some nfl experience, like a defense coordinator or even an offensive coordinator if possible... kubiak would do wonders for deuce and the offense... but if you want to improve the defense you have to bring in someone who isn't afraid to get some good defensive players, something haslett has been to afraid to do...
