Lets throw into the equation that our O-line sucked today as well.

Rsanders24 09-25-2005 05:14 PM

At the end of the day he still lost the game!

We're down by 8, Brooks throws another INT, this is after 4 killer turnovers last week. Boy, some guys know how to back a winner.

I think the fact here is that Jake is 1-2, and that's HIS fault, more than any other player on his team. The Saints are also 1-2, and while Brooks hasn't played like Joe Montana (or even close) the entire TEAM sucks.

No one here is saying Brooks didn't suck today are they? What does it say about you that you're focusing on Brooks?

Hey there numbers boy, check your stats and then check the record for each team...1-2 = 1-2 on this planet. ;)

saintswhodi 09-25-2005 05:26 PM

Oh I get it. So Jake Delhomme gave up 24 points outside of the winning FG to the Dolphins? Really? Good call. Brooks blinders came a little early this year huh? We were down by 10, Brooks INT. Down by 8, Brooks INT. Did you see last week? He had three turnovers when we were still in the game. But let me get to the crux, so if 1-2 is all that matters, is win/loss the deciding factor on who is the better QB? I doubt you wanna make that argument, but it's not like there is ever a good argument FOR Brooks anyway.

Are you serious? The same guy that focused on Jake IN WEEK ONE? You're done.

T...E...A...M. Football, Whodi, is a TEAM game.

Tell me one person posting here today that dosn't think Brooks' play contributed...just one, k? Otherwise, go argue with yourself.

As for 1-2, yeah, that's all that matters. Let's take a little quiz big man. Grade the following and educate the masses on how Brooks single handedly lost us today's game.

Offense:

WR play
RB play
TE play
Line Play
QB play

Defense

Line Play
LB Play
DB play

Special Teams

Now grade honestly, and then try and prove to the rest of us how it's all Brooks' fault.

Yes Aaron sucks...

But man, How many Superbowls have Daunte or Delhomme won?
Same number as Brooks.
I don't understand all you Delhomme backers, the guy is average.
Hell we had Kerry Collins on this team once too. Where are all his supporters.

PLEASE STOP BRINGING UP DELHOMME.
The debate is irrelevant.

whodi aren't we and the panthers both 1 AND 2? they both suck!!!!! I used to give AB a pass because it was the defenses fault, this year it isn't. the offense and special teams has put the D in terrible situations this year. To say that we would be better off with jake "the crier" is crazy!!!!!!!

This is unreal.

Not even a full 2 or 3 hours after the game.....SaintsWhodi is so heartbroken by the loss that he comes to the forum, gleefully starting up some kind of QB comparison.

Brooks has 1 really good game, 1 decent game, and 1 horrible game......while Culpepper has 2 horrible games, and 1 outstanding game. Were you actually rooting for the Vikings to win this game today, just so you could start this post? Culpepper, Brooks, and Delhomme are all QBs of 1-2 teams at this point. It is what it is.

But you know what? I don't even have the energy to defend Brooks after yesterday's game. There's not one Saints player that I have the desire to defend right now. Maybe next week, we can be "Hatfield/McCoy" with each other once more......but for now, you're on your own. Brooks played like crap yesterday, and I am angry at everyone, him included. I created a new post yesterday, ripping nearly every member of the team.....but it was either deleted or didn't go through.

You know.....I woudln't be so mad if I thought they weren't any better than this. But I know they are alot better than they've played these last 2 weeks. THE SAINTS ARE NOT THIS BAD.

Next week is do or die. We will find out alot about the "character" of this Saints team next week when they face a good, but certainly not unbeatable, Buffalo Bills team.

WTF? Again, from the guy who singled out Jake Delhomme in week one? Do you keep a glass of hypocrite juice close by? And if it's a team game, why haven't you addressed all these "Jake lost the game for Carolina" posters? Oh I get it, when Aaron screws up horribly, it's a TEAM game, but when another QB screws up, he lost the game. Yup, done again.

Anyone who considers a game with 1 TD and 4 turnovers decent is not even worth debating. Glad you see Brooks for what he is and decided not to defend him though.
