Honestly....

our team is just bad. Take a step back and look at them. Our offensive line is underachieving and can't control the line of scrimmage. Our running back has nowhere to go, even tho I'm still convinced he's one of the best RBs in the NFL. Our QB is just awful and should be a backup in the CFL, maybe. We have one awesome WR, and the rest are inconsistent and have bad hands. Our TEs are a mystery; Ernie Conwell is having a productive year but usually suck. Our defensive line sucks. Linebackers are pitiful, just absolutely awful, probably the worst LBs corps in the NFL. Our secondary underachieves just like the rest of this team and can't seem to stop the pass. Our punter is awesome because he gets so much damn practice in game situations. Our kicker is old, has no power, and blows easy kicks all the time. Our returners fumble more kicks than Az-Hakim drops passes (o wait, he's on our team too). We have more penalties than any other team in the NFL. Our coaching staff is probably one of the least motivating and driven groups in the league.

Overall, we're just not very good. How dare anybody say we have a lot of talent, because we don't. We suck.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the 'Aints are back

RE: Honestly....

I don't think me or you are going to be really popular.

I'm with you on this, we need some drastic changes right now. Yes, I think the 'Aints are back.

'Aint going to the playoffs
'Aint going to start A-Mac
'Aint going to fire Venturi
'Aint going to fire Hazbeen
'Aint going to do a damn thing about it

and here is the only will.......

WILL DISAPOINT US ALL!

RE: Honestly....

Man, I'm so sad that I have to agree with you both. I've been trying to stay on the positive side of things for years now, but the losing has got to me too. It's not so much the losses as it is the way in which we're losing the games. The guys just keep making the same mistakes, over and over and over, the SAME penalties, over and over and over. Deuce keeps running into our own O line evry time he runs, Our kick returners are doing the same and fumbling while they are at it. Every week now for years on end. When is enough enough? It's obviously time for some changes and I hope they come now rather then later. I'm with everyone elses thinking that why not try Mcpherson? He can't be much worse then Brooks has been. And I do feel sorry for the coaching staff, Haz in particular, Don't give a damn about Venturi. You can see the look on his face on the sideline and it pains me to see it because evryone knows, here we go again and there is not a thing anyone can do about it!

Hope the year is not a total bust, but hey, a high or 1st overall pick can't hurt can it?

RE: Honestly....

I really don't know what the cure will be. They are doomed to mediocrity. Like I said I love em and always will, but we will continue to be let down until some major F'in changes happen. If someone knows how we need to bottle it and become millionares.

Probably will change with ownership. Can you imagine Jerry Jones being the Owner?

I really can't believe so many guys are down on Brooks. Why can't you all see his greatness???????????????? I mean McPherson is just a rookie. Who wants to see him make rookie mistakes when we can see our 5th year starter do it? I just really can't believe anyone thinks Brooks is a problem. Seriously? Do you guys even watch football? 6 turnovers in two weeks by Brooks is harmless. Hasn't hurt us one bit. And so what he was well under 50% passing in this game, got Shad Meier jacked up on his first pass, threw the ball down and behind Stallworth on the second, and missed numerous open receivers, with a 1.9 passer rating at one point. He is great. And I don't have to explain why. There's no reason I think he is great, he just is, and you all know it. Shame on anyone who blames Brooks for anything.

No, AB is probably not the answer. We need a game-managing QB to run this offense. However, until the O-line starts protecting the QB and opening up some holes for Deuce, it's not going to matter.

Has and staff should have been gone at least 2 years ago. Why isn't he gone now? It's obvious to me that Benson's plan has been to drive up ticket prices while keeping a poor team on the field so that tickets wouldn't sell and he could use that as an excuse to move the team. His true intent is more than clear now and is so strong that he'd even try to use the Hurricane situation to move the team (and still blame the fans, the state, and whomever else, except himself or the organization).

Hmm, very interesting conspiracy theory on that last bit Scotty. Where's 08, cause that's a humdinger. But, from what we have seen out of this team since Haz and Brooks have been here, I must say you could be on to something.
