Saints | Update On Flowers Visit - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
5:18 PT: Updating a previous report, the Times Picayune reports the New Orleans Saints plan to bring in free agent S Lee Flowers (Steelers) for a free agent visit either late this week or early next week.

Also, Clayton reported this morning on Inside the Huddle that the Saints will make a draft day move to secure a spot in the top 10 to either draft Newman or Trufant. So signing Ambrose was just to provide depth.

Is it me, or does Flowers seem like a Knight clone. Why bring in someone who is not going to be an upgrade at a position? Would rather we signed Lassiter, despite him being 3 years older.

Lee Floweres stinks, he is a strong safety and he cant cover, He is a step down not up.
plus if you think turly had a big mouth, evend after the Pats kicked the stellers butts in the playoffs and the first game of the season he was still running his mouth.
