Next up...Green Bay

Not that I've got no evidence to support my "desperate teams need to play the Saints" theory, but they'll get toasted tomorrow night by the Panthers. At 0-4, the Pack need the Saints just like every other hard luck team has ever had such a need. Farve's probably just itching at a chance to run Ahman Green through the swiss cheese we call a D-line, then play action to get Craft 1-on-1 with the waterboy. Call this a rout heading into their bye week. No way the Pack goes 0-3 at home to begin a season.

Pack 45, Saints 13

Who says I'm a pessimist?

ok, when was the last time that the Saints beat a team that had no business in the same stadium? Usually they lose big. I'll cite a few examples:

2005-Minnesota
2004-Minnesota, Arizona
2003- Carolina twice, Jacksonville (river city miracle)
2002 -Detroit, Cleveland, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Carolina (nice 3 game slide)
2001 - Jets, St. Louis, TB, Washington, SF (Nice 4 game slide)
2000 - I'll cut some slack here for the playoff team
Pree 2000 - Ditka years. 'Nuff said.

Who am I?

I'm your worst nightmare.

I'm smart, pay attention, have command over the facts, see the big picture and can express a point with clarity and eloquence.

Don't project your character flaws on me. :jester:

I won't doubt your score prediction, it would be typical. However I think the score maybe closer to this weeks. The team is coming off a MUCH needed win and I think they will win it close or lose it close. It just depends on if the "bad monkey" starts talking them into making crazy plays

This is the "Bad Monkey" :monkey:

Go Pack Go on MNF!!! I sure hope that Carolina gives them one, b/c I can't stand to see yet another team get its first win against the Saints... which you'd have to be crazy not to expect if GB loses tonight.

Let me see if I can get the scenario right, assuming GB loses tonight:

The Saints, coming off their second win, in a game in which they played careful mistake free football, travel to GB, looking for its first win of the season in Lambeau in what may be Favre's last season? Oh yeah, that's a recipe for disaster if I've ever heard of one.

I'm hoping Green Bay beats Carolina tonight, for obvious reasons......but also, the Pack won't be quite as desperate if they have 1 win under their belt, as they would if they were still winless heading into the Saints game.

Brooks, so far, is 1-0 against his former teammate Favre. Also, McKenzie will look to have a big game. Saint need to make the most out of these next 5 weeks.

Edit: i made this post before I saw WhoDat's.

I just really hope the Saints can get off of this roller coaster. If the previous games has anything to say about this team, its that the Saints played a good game this week and next week it will lick ballz. Great.

Well, heres to hoping.
