As always, 99.9% of the blame is for the Coaching staff, this is not a well Coached team... And believe it or not, either your staff brings out the best in your players or your worsts. Guess which Haslett and his staff bring out? I was sitting in Buffalo Wild wing, and the guy there immediately got pissed at the first AB pick, dead wrong on AB'S part didn't even see A. Harris. Then we were all complaining about the time-out being called on 3rd and 1, the next thing you know AB throws the ball up for grabs.

This chick asked why he did that, and I told her it was obvious a play called during the time-out by the staff.

So AB, is on the sideline smiling and the guy next is saying how he's wrong for that...And I was like yeah we're getting our butts kicked and he's happy and joking he shouldn't be doing that. by the next Quarter I turned to the guy and said now I see why AB was laughing, cause if you don't you'll have a heart attack over this crap waitress bring me 2 more Long island teas! And Carney we were calling the misses before he even missed them, it was hilarious!

Bottom line, we haven't been able to stop a opposing team in 5 years. We couldn't even stop a bangged up winless Packer team. Penalties at the montrous rate the Saints have gotten them over the past 5 years Coaching all Coaching. Players reflect the Coach and his staff!!! Please stop with the AB crap,he didn't play good... But again the problem lies on the sideline and in the front office.

Hmmm ok....

This post isn't for real, is it?

But yeah you're right....all AB did was throw one bad pass.

saintswhodi 10-09-2005 03:44 PM

*Sigh*

i agree we should have ran on the 3rd and 1, but aaron still made the decision to throw the ball into that coverage. unacceptable... 6 years i've watched him make the same shi#%y mistakes week in and week out! i'm tired of it.... really tired of it! when is there going to be some culpability for his actions among the fans? he's like teflon, nothing sticks to him... every mistake he makes is pinned on someone else, like the coach, the offensive line, the receivers... don't get me wrong, they have their problems and if i were benson i'd fire everyone including the towelboy, but at some point there must be the realization that brooks is not and will not be the answer for anyone at QB...

dUDE, THAT DECISION WAS MADE ON THE SIDELINE! tHAT AT THAT POINT WAS NOT YOUR qb's DECISION!! yOU CAN BLAME HIM, BUT i PROMISE YOU YOU'D BE DEAD WRONG FOR DOING SO.

Dude what's with the caps....we can see what you say without them, sheesh.

Bro you can use the coaches as a scapegoat if u want. To be sure, they suck and need to go, but I'm pretty sure the coaches don't say throw the ball no matter what coverage is on the field. Throw it away if you don't have it, but of course you will refuse to believe it because u know nothing about football apparently.

Might as well give it up Chrxis. If you haven't noticed, AB is the only QB in the league who can throw into triple coverage and have an INT not be his fault.

CHACHING 10-09-2005 04:03 PM

6 years...hmmmmmm....
might not be the right choice at QB???
Ya think?

saintswhodi 10-09-2005 04:12 PM

Wow. So your defense for Aaron Broooks, is Jake Delhomme? One trick pony.

papz 10-09-2005 04:13 PM

Even though we should have ran the ball on 3rd and 1, no one forced Brooks to throw into double coverage. Of course... it wasn't Aaron's fault.

Dude, you sound like a broken record. Everyone knows that the coaching staff and defense is a problem. But for some strange reason, you always can find an excuse for our sorry quarterback. The guy has never been consistent and probably will never be. If we can't make it to the playoffs this years, AB along with Haslett and Venturi needs to go.

jrmllb 10-09-2005 04:16 PM

The entire offense stunk up the joint, agreed...By the end of the 2nd quarter the dfense was exhausted, had they been allowed tostay on the bench more than 45 seconds they would have been fresher...

saintswhodi 10-09-2005 04:22 PM

The only problem is, YOU'RE the only one not forgetting him. You think AB's impressive 1-3 turnover to TD ratio is gonna change my mind? You think bringing up Jake every time people are down on AB is Gonna change anyone's mind? AB's defense used to be his stats. Now it's just, "well Jake did this." Sad. LEt me make it clear for you so you can ctually only discuss AB when he is brought up, there is nothing Aaron Brooks has done to show me he is better than Jake, and he appears to be getting worse. But so what? It chaps your ass that much that someone likes Jake better than AB, Seriously? Well, let me run down all the QBs I like better than AB so you can throw them in for some variety.

Manning(either one), Brees, Brady, McNabb, Leftwich, Palmer, Culpepper, Favre, Bledsoe, Delhomme, Vick, Schaub, Griese, Hasselbeck, Bulger, Pennington, Roethlisberger, McNair, Plummer, Green. SO when you PM me tomorrow about another QB, pick a different one besides Jake. I gave you plenty to choose from. Or you can just stay a one trick pony. Either way.

Chaching you got your siggy backwards, with Fumbles the clown at QB it's 4 & 12.

ScottyRo 10-09-2005 11:43 PM

I'm embarrassed to say but in the second half I was rooting for GB to score. Run it up. Those pathetic so-called professional players and coaches deserved to lose 104-3 rather than 52-3.

Another of the worst performances all-time by this team this season. I can't wait to hear Benson say he's keeping Haslet cuz of all that has gone on with Hurricanes and all. That SOB should have been fired years ago.

SapperSaint 10-10-2005 01:21 AM

Who gives a rats azz! I have crossed over to the dark side. This entire F#%KIN' TEAM SUCKS!

52-3, 52-3!!!!!!!!!! :bang:

No one can defend anyone on this team. I tried to be hopeful, and think "Happy Frickin' Thoughts", and as usual what happens........THEY LOSE. This team finds more ways to get beat and beat it self. Someone asked about Saints in the HOF. This entire TEAM will go down in history as the WORST in the history of the NFL. The Saints won't move, they will stay in New Orleans, just so they can continue to SUCK!

I can't wait to see what is said after the following statement I am about to make.....

The Saints need to move...maybe it will make them better. It seemed to work for the other teams that have moved. This will never be fixed. No Head Coach in his right mind much less a HC that is worth a crap, would come to New Orleans. Why, some of you may ask? Why would they want to DESTROY their carreer! If we do finish last, and get the first draft pick, and lets just say we draft Matt Liehart, do any of you honestly believe he would sign!?!?! I can answer that, (see Eli Manning) in other words H*LL NO.

The New Orleans 'AINTS KILL THE FANS WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT.

THE BAG IS NOW ON! :censored:

spkb25 10-10-2005 02:36 AM

hey saintswhodi might want to include matt shaub on that list too. i like him much better then brooks and he is a back up. think we could trade them staright up for each other. mora is probably to smart.

hey black who cares one way or another about jake. he isn't on this team so who gives a rats arse. brooks sucks man. i mean he sucks. the coaching staff needs to go too but brooks sucks. he can't make a read. he threw one not bad pass but horrible pass yesterday and then he also had one bad pass. ok the int. for td was horrible. no thought by brooks. it was like he was programmed to throw it there. don't make read this is first option must throw it. then he throws into double coverage and over throws the guy to boot. now i have a theory on why he smiles so much. it also makes a lot of sense when you consider how he can't make a read. he has less then average intelligence. not handicapped but less then normal. now when you see people like that they always smile a lot. i am not talking about people with serious mental handicapps i mean normal folks that just aren't very smart. they smile a lot. now most qb's don't throw the ball into double coverage along the sideline like that. brooks does though and this is why, it makes him happy. then he can smile. he doesn't play to win or lose he just plays because it make him happy. then he smile.

black you may never see the light and that is ok. it may be that you just are to much of a fan of his and that is fine. i use to be like that too. use to talk about his stats and how good he was and it wasn't his fault and then he just didn't get any better and now appears to be worse. so i saw trhe light. i don't think anyone thinks he is the only problem but when the coaching staff gets fired he needs to go too.

No, no defense for AB'S poor play today. No defense for the teams poor play today. I'm just reminding you , about you boyfriend Jake. We don't want you forgetting he's just as bad if not worse than AB.
Jake got them to a SuperBowl. :nutkick:

AB......ALL SMILES BABY!!!!!ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK!!!!!!

SCREW BROOKS!

Schaub is on the list spk. Oh, I will add Billy Volek though, forgot him. Oh, and Matt Leinart, Vince Young, and Marcus Vick.

TheDeuce 10-10-2005 11:04 AM

Don't forget Keanu Reeves in "The Replacements." I actually think he had more touchdowns and less interceptions than AB.

I also want to take this opportunity to let you know that even tho AB is absolutely awful, the loss yesterday wasn't entirely his fault. The defense still gave up 38 points. Just FYI. But yes, even me who used to be a big Brooks supporter, is calling for this guy to take himself out of the game; that would be the classy thing to do, and probably the most rational thing.

saintswhodi 10-10-2005 11:07 AM

Actually, GB scored 28 points off turnovers. So the defense gave up what, 24 directly? Anyway, our offense still only scored 3 points against one of the worst defenses in the league.

TheDeuce 10-10-2005 11:10 AM

Yeah but the defense gave up those points to the Packers without 1. Ahman Green 2. Bubba Franks 3. Javon Walker 4. Their starting center 5. Their two tackles played but had bad knees............. That's four of their five best offensive players were out and they still stomped the sh** out of us. That's just embarassing. No Green, Walker, or Franks? OK, so they had Donald Driver, Brett Favre, and Najeh Davenport for a little while and we still got dominated. This team is an embarassment and I am thinking that Haslett gets fired midseason and we hire Joe the peanut vendor in the Alamodome to be the new coach.

saintswhodi 10-10-2005 11:17 AM

Quote:

This team is an embarassment
No truer words..........................

But it has been for a while now. Since 2000 and the playoffs, we have had new RB sand FBs, new receivers. new TEs, a new offensive line, a new defensive line, a new LB corp, a new secondary, new punter, new kicker, new assistant coaches. Only two positions has remained untouched. 3 points against one of the worst D's on the league is ghastly. But still, this TEAM is an embarrassment.

SaintStoneyMount 10-10-2005 02:21 PM

If I was AB I'd be smiling too. After all he gets to pick up a big fat professional football 1st string QB check after playing like a second string high school QB. Extra lapse and field drills for you young man....

gandhi1007 10-11-2005 10:48 AM

Come on guys!! Let's not justify the fact that Aaron Brooks isn't smart enough to master a children's puzzle. We must have not been watching the same game. He threw way more than one bad pass! Not to mention the fumble or the scramble & slide 1 yard short of a 1st down. But, the rest of the team sucked as well. The only difference-They weren't smiling about it on the sidelines. F**k Aaron Brooks!!!!!! Oh yeah, let's not forget about our moron coach, who managed to get our star runnning back hurt by keeping him in the game during a 42-3 route. Real smart Jim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CHACHING 10-11-2005 10:04 PM

Ya'll trippin'......our team is the sh$#!
Aaron Brooks is the sh%$!
Defense is the SH^%!
now......take all that and subtract the word THE....
We friggin suck Moose ba...!!!!!
Take brooks and THE WHOLE COACHING STAFF out to The Onion Fields and be done with it

Oh come on man, we were setting up for the comeback of all time. Didn't you hear, Brooks had them right where he wanted em.

SapperSaint 10-12-2005 03:50 AM

That was a joke by the way.

jrmllb 10-14-2005 04:08 PM

Right now on top of Keaneu Reeves I would tke Burt Reynolds (Longest Yard 1), Adam Sandler (Longest Yard 2), and probably Scott Bakula (Necessary Roughness)...I want to see A-Mac get some time but what about some insurance like trading for Schaub, Rivers, Green, or Nall in GB, a louisiana guy back in the saddle where one should have been sitting the last 3 years, give him the chance to show he is better than Rogers...OK so I grew up with the guy..But he has one hell of an arm...And even though I have never met AB (Thank my stars) I can say this Craig is smarter and played some good ball last year and in the preseason and his not playing has been better than AB's playing this year.

gandhi1007 10-14-2005 06:44 PM

I would take Danny frickin' Weurffel over Brooks & we all remember how bad he sucked. But on the serious tip, I don't think Atlanta would be crazy enough to get rid of Schaub. This guy will be a starter for someone soon & I don't think Atlanta wants to keep him in the division. Nall has a good arm, but sometimes cracks under pressure & really isn't the best of scramblers. With our offensive line, I would hate to do that to a native of Cenla. I really don't know about Rivers either (kinda' side arms the ball). Our best bet would either be to try & trade for David Carr who could be great if he wasn't so busy reenacting Archie Manning from his days w/ the Saints. This poor guy is having a tea party in the backfield w/ the opposing team's defensive lineman every play.
But here's the master plan:

Lose the rest of our games & draft Leinhart!!!!!
