Losman, Harrington, Alex Smith, Orton are worse among starters. Losman, Smith and Orton first years starting. Pretty elite company there with Joey H. being the only more than one year starter.

Doesn't help when he puts the ball in WR hands and they can't catch. Doesn't help that our O-line is Swiss cheese. This debate of AB is so old now and who cares when your whole team sucks.

I was thinking about this last night. That pass that got picked for a TD was the worst pass I think I've ever seen a pro QB throw. AB said Harris made a great play. That's funny.

Think about this...anyone who knows football will get this. The pump fake is designed to do what? To get a guy to bite on a route so that you can throw to another receiver or to do a pump and go so that the DB bites and the receiver hits a go route. (I plan on throwing a couple of these tonite myself.)

AB pump faked to a guy on a hook route (or whatever it was...the receiver was still standing in the same location that AB pumped to). So...Harris bit on the fake and then AB THREW THE BALL TO THE SAME PLACE HE HAD JUST FAKED TO. This effectively gave the DB advance notice of AB's intentions and gave him 2 chances to defend the route.

I'm done. And, Bouman is not a 2nd stringer....he's a 4th stringer/kick holder.

AMAC should have played the entire 2nd half. What did we see/gain by letting bouman flail around?


Sunday was the worst sports day that I have ever seen. The Braves collapse...the Saints debacle. I truly had trouble getting out of bed today.

Did you expect anything else for AZ freaking Hakim? Seriously? And that O-line swiss cheese thing is a joke. Our o-line has played well pass blocking. Run blocking has been suspect. Defend someone else cause AB is indefensible at this point.

You would think an experienced Qb would take a little something off the ball with a receiver coming into his first game . Nope , not Fumbalaya Brooks.

Actually the pass that Brooks threw for the int that went back for a TD was the same pass Hasselbeck threw in the playoffs in OT and loss the Game.

Hmm, so even game film on Al Harris should have told him not to throw a pass that was the exact same thing that caused the ONLY defensive TD for a score in NFL playoff history to win a game? How does that help Brooks' case?

Brooks blew the game from the second series on...period. The O-line has not lived up to expectations. The defense couldn't hold St. Aug. The special teams stinks, including chip shot Carney. Now you guys can try to divide and conquer, blaming or defending each individual component, but in cases like this the criminal is easy to identify....They are called Coaches.... The Coach and staff are to blame. They come up with the game plan. Coaches put these douchbags on the field and are supposed to come up with adjustments. I'm sick and tired of the Brooks debate and the O-line vs. the Defense threads. Damn who's at middle LB (yeah Courtney sucks but who keeps saying he is doing a good job...coach?) who is running this bullcrap we call a team. Coach Haslett is a great guy I think but it's time to move on. Find somebody who can get the job done. :puke:

I have decided to affectionately nickname Aaron Brooks "the Scarecrow". You remember the guy in the "Wizard of Oz" who walked around singing "If I only had a brain." That's our QB!!! Joe Horn has been saving his ass for years. You know, digging up under thrown balls out of the dirt. Catching overthrown balls in triple coverage & getting his ribs crushed. Making circus catches of poorly thrown balls in the end zone. Do I really need to go on? So Joe's out against Green Bay & our receiving core (especially Az Hakim) isn't up to par. Sh*t happens. Let's talk about the butter fingered jack ass at the helm. "Has Been" sais his stats are up there w/ the top guys in the league last year. Yeah, fumbles, interceptions (always in crucial times I might ad), & bonehead plays. Come on! This guy is still the only QB I've ever seen turn completely around, & throw the ball the wrong way. I mean, I've seen even the best QB's loose the handle on the ball while cocking back, but I've never seen a guy turn around & throw it the wrong way!!!! And as for you guys, screaming put the backups in- Bouman sucks & let's not forget who lined up behind a guard to take a snap in the preseason. Thank god our RB's pay attention to point our field general to who actually hikes the ball!!!! As true Saints fans we have to be realistic. There's no QB on our team that should be starting in NCAA football, much less the NFL. We need a real QB. We have loads of talent on offense, but no one to lead them (coaching staff included)!!!!!!

P.S.- Guys, please stop defending Brooks! The guy sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
