The sAINTS. Just like I said about two weeks ago! At least the Texans give their all. We have a bunch of fat a$$es collecting paychecks!! And for those who think that AB wants to run backward need to realize that there is no pocket for him to step up into.

This is easy, Houston. By far. Teams that have allowed more sacks= Houston, Minny, New York, St Louis, San Fran, and Arizona. Josh McCown was getting it worse than Brooks by far today by the way. Simple rules to help your o-line. Throw the ball away if you are about to take a safety. Look before you throw to see if the corner is sitting on a slant route. Do not run 25 yards back when getting sacked. Try not to fumble the snap. Throw to where the receiver is, or where he is going, not where you want him to go. Stop taking 7 yards drops.

Also, our line has been banged up ALL YEAR. Mayberry was out early, Brown has been out lately, and LeCharles has been questionable but playing for 3 weeks now. And forget about LG. Noone can stay healthy there. Enough with the excuses. Our whole offense is terrible.

Sorry, but I understand what you are trying to do here. The offensive line is no excuse. The line did NOT account for Brooks' interception and two fumbles. The offensive line blocked according to scheme for most of the afternoon. The problem is that Brooks dropped back too far and/or he (not seeing the blitz) slid right into the rush.

I was at the game, there were gaping holes for Brooks to run through all day. No excuses. I don't know if you have the 2005 edition of Madden, but I have it for XBox. If you happen to lose about 10 or more yards on a sack, John Madden's commentary will explain how it makes no sense to lose that many yards because of a sack. You're supposed to step up in the pocket. Never run backwards.

If there's no room to step up and no where to go with the ball, take the sack. Its a loss of two yards as opposed to 10+.

Granted, the offensive line is banged up, they're not the worst in any phase of the ball game. Gus Frerotte (sp?) made the "pro bowl" Brooks look like an amateur. Gus Frerotte.

OH NO HE DIDN"T... Madden!!! THE LINE SUCKS. Henderson wasn't suppose to get behind the corner back on that route... WR's fault. HE is supose to get in front of the Defender and move toward the QB on that route. Stallworth and Horn run the same route and they make sure they are in front of the CD. Brooks may not have had a great game but our O-line was HORRIBLE. Blocking accordingly... how many yards they get rushing... that isn't accordingly.

Buddy, I agree with you on many occaisions, but you were in San Diego and I was in Tiger Stadium. I remember seeing receivers open down the field and Brooks never seeing them. I distinctly remember Brooks completely missing receivers either too high or too low.

I remember one play in the first quarter that we had a receiver (I believe it was Stallworth) who was running along the left sideline wide open. He was being watched for the first 5 yards and then the defender ran up towards Brooks. The Saints receiver was wide open streaking down the sideline for a huge bomb. Only a safety would have been able to make the tackle, and he wasn't even close. Brooks passed it to someone who I think may have been in double coverage. The play resulted in a first down, but it was one of many key opportunties that Brooks just flat-out missed.

Brooks seems to only throw the deep ball when a receiver is blanketed in coverage. Watching the game on television, I gave Brooks the benefit of the doubt. Being at the game this time, however, showed me what REALLY happen.

when you are running for you life kind of hard to set and throw. The pass to Henderson was a timing route, you throw the ball and the WR has to get there. Why ya think Brooks was pissed...

Brooks was pissed cause he knew he was gonna get booed, again. Point blank, the CB sat on the route WAY before Devery even made his break. He was waiting for a slant. Being a smart receiver, Devery decided he would be open if he broke the route back to the sideline, AS THE CORNER WAS SITTING ON THE SLANT. Brooks never looked and just threw the ball. I agree with Oldies, until you see this clown play in person, you have no idea how bad he is, how many open receivers he misses, how many times he backs or does that stupid spin into a rush instead of away from it, how many times he throws the ball away in places that gets it to be nearly intercepted. It's horrendous.

As far as "running for his life" goes, all he has to do is step up in the pocket or away from the blitz. I seen gaping holes up the middle or to the opposing side of the rush all game long. Brooks never utilized them, though. He just back peddled.

McPherson would have had a field day. He might have thrown an interception or two (if he would have passed the ball at all), but he would have ran all over the Dolphins. Atleast until they would have made an adjustment.

I know the interception was intended to be a timing route, but you can't throw the ball if the receiver isn't open. Maybe Henderson messed up his own route, but Brooks should still be able to acknowledge that the option was not there and move on to another receiver.

I've seen it with my own eyes. Aaron Brooks has no clue when it comes to finding the open receiver. When you watch on television you'll notice that he's always throwing in to double and triple coverage. Logically, that would tell you that one receiver must be wide open...and they are.

He didn't break to the sidelines he sat behind the CB and DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! THis is a rookie who needs to read and made decisions to help his team. On certain plays year you can alter the route but on a timeing quick hook you can't let the defender get between you and the ball. It wasn't a slant if it was then he could have hit him later in the route.
