I'm going to be on the radio on Ringside Politics with Jeff Crouere again on Wednesday (11/2) as guest host from blackandgold.net. I will be on between 12:15 and 12:45pm or so.

I WILL BE ON EVERY WEDNESDAY BETWEEN THE NOON AND 1 PM HOUR.
The show airs M-F 12pm to 2pm.

On that page click "Listen" at the top and a player should be able to play the the stream. If not I suggest you download Nullsoft's Winamp which is a free player.

The show also is transmitted over several stations accross the State including.

KVOL, 1330 AM Lafayette, 5000 watts
WOMN, 1110 AM Franklinton/Northshore, 1000 watts

The Lafayette signal sometimes reaches Baton Rouge, sometimes it doesn't. I suggest the internet stream for the clearest possible channel.

This is a political show and has a lot of importance now-a-days as politics will probably determine a lot in the next few years as to whether the Saints stay or go. We talk a little football too.

I love 1330 KVOL's sports coverage. I will do my best to listen at that time. I may be on campus at ULL, though.

As far as things to talk about, you seem to be in the middle of every discussion. You do an excellent job of browsing the boards, so you know what the arguments and feelings on both sides are.

Hope you have fun and a good show. I'll do my best to listen in.

Well the whole thing is a plug of this site, but I have been really reading the forums lately and I will have some things to say about what people are saying in here. I get a lot of feel for things from what I read right here.

We're probably going to talk about the incident when Benson took a swipe at the fan and camera. Voice your thoughts about that too and I will relay them as the general feel.

This is a month away. Too early to be plugging your own hype machine Halo. lol j/k. But try to have like an Xbox 360 giveaway or something. That would be pretty cool. :P

Ah thanks for that Whodi, I put 12/2 instead of 11/2.

Basically I'm on every wednesday during the 12pm to 1pm hour. So it's this wednesday 11/2.

Whodi, it's impossible to give something away you don't have... it's hasn't even come out yet.

Well Halo, since you had put 12/2 instead of 11/2, wouldn't that stand to reason that since Xbox 360 is out Nov. 22, it would have been out by 12/2? Thusly, since you admitted your initial scheduling error, I now request the giveaway be a $500 best buy gift card just to make up for said error. That way, the winner could hold it until the Xbox 360 is out. :P

Of course those special moderator types should get on for Christmas for all our hard work ......

Benson's reactions that you are referring to are outrageous. It's similar, in my opinion, to the people on the show "cheaters" when they get busted.

I imagine that many people are blowing Benson's stance out of proportion, though, I firmly believe he gets what he deserves. You don't wine and dine with San Antonio officials without some-sort of an agenda in mind.

This incident only made hatred for Tom Benson increase. If he really has no intentions to move the team, then this was an incredibly bad move on his part. No one is going to believe him now.

On a more positive note, Saints fans are beginning to have faith in Commissioner Tagliabue. His statements that game gave hope to all Saints' fans in this state. He seemed to "put his foot down."

I, for one, am feeling much more assured that the Saints will stay in the state of Louisiana after those statements.
