John Karney

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Carney has lost something. There's no question to that. If it had been just this year, then I might excuse it a bit. Unfortunately, his performance has been getting worse as the years roll by. It's time for a change. ...

AB has had enough chances. Blame it on this or that or whatever, but he has needed to overcome and hasn't done it. A change of scenery might be what he needs for his career to grow. This same sentiment goes with Haslet. He had his opportunities and didn't get it done. The events of this year shouldn't excuse the lack of past years' playoff appearances. Haz should have been gone and some coach been in his 2nd season by now with the Saints. It didn't happen, but it should now.

I didn't want to give Horn an extension, but that's neither here nor there. I already agreed Carney should be cut. Deuce should be cut cause he got injured? Good call. Let's focus on one thing:

Giants should cut Eli after his last weeks performance.

So your suggestion is that the Giants should cut a second year QB who has led them to the lead in their division and is widely recognized as a franchise QB cause he had one bad performance? Do you seriously wanna go there? Go to ANY site on the web for ANY team, including this team, and ask if they would rather have Eli or Brooks, see what you get. I haven't wanted to say this for a really long time Euph, cause I gave you the benefit of the doubt, but dude you are clueless. I can't beleive anyone would write this stuff. I am gonna go forward chalking your posts up to that standard, and not even respond to them. I don't believe you even think before you respond, all you have in mind is "defend AB, defend AB, defend AB, no matter what ridiculous thing you have to say." Even I, the number one want AB gone get him out of here person had given him props when he has played well. Doesn't happen at all lately. But this is just geting sad.

Didn't Carney just blast a 49 yard field goal against the Dolphins? He's the only reason we scored any points. If the Saints get rid of him, it should be after the season is over. However, I see no reason to cut him right now at this moment. But I might feel different later as the saeason wears on, who knows...
