We have a Kicker who misses etra points and get kicks blocked... Lets cut him now.

okay, i'm with you on that. Bring back the guy we had in preseason.

The entire special teams unit is playing bad. He may not miss so much if he has better blocking and a better snapper. However, he is getting old.

I agree, this guy ruined one of the greatest plays of all time (Jacksonville) by missing the freakin EP. He misses way too many short kicks. He sucks. And he's ugly.
And it's Carney, but hey whatever

Is it just my perception, or did he seem like "Mr. Automatic" up until they replaced the turf in the dome?
He is getting old, but I think that the new turf really had a bad effect on his game. Old dog- new trick situation?
Whatever the cause, he's not what he used to be, I think he needs to go.

Whodis got you there man. Like you have said all over this site, and I do happen to agree with you; one person will not change this team. Besides it can't be that hard to find a place kicker.

This is what I was going for... Doesn't matter that the kicker is bad... the whole unit is sucking... this is the post I was trying to get and yall couldn't even read it... you don't get it not even here do you? It absolutely does matter. What world are you living in where it wouldn't matter? If the kicker is bad, saying everyone else is bad DOES NOT EXCUSE HIM. If he is bad, he needs to go, just like the QB. AB's CAREER numbers, gaffes, etc. prove he is bad. Not just this year, pretty much every year. Carney has proven he is bad, he needs to go.

What is this year 5 of a bad year? Is your next statement, doesn't matter if he is having a bad half a decade? Ab has never been "good." Even in his "career year" he fumbled so much noone noticed his numbers. Average is the best he has achieved. Just like Carney, if he is bad, which he is, he needs to go. Trying to throw blame to tohers doesn't change that. You fix it all. We have changed our o-line a lot in 5 years, and AB has been mediocr enomatter who has been around him.

Carney has lost something. There's no question to that. If it had been just this year, then I might excuse it a bit. Unfortunately, his performance has been getting worse as the years roll by. It's time for a change.

AB has had enough chances. Blame it on this or that or whatever, but he has needed to overcome and hasn't done it. A change of scenery might be what he needs for his career to grow. This same sentiment goes with Haslet. He had his opportunities and didn't get it done. The events of this year shouldn't excuse the lack of past years' playoff appearances. Haz should have been gone and some coach been in his 2nd season by now with the Saints. It didn't happen, but it should now.

Didn't Carney just blast a 49 yard field goal against the Dolphins? He's the only reason we scored any points. If the Saints get rid of him, it should be after the season is over. However, I see no reason to cut him right now at this moment. But I might feel different later as the saeason wears on, who knows...
