LMAO!!! This is so transparent. It must have been killing you to have to hold your tongue for three weeks. Win after win, great game after great game. I know it was eating you. Is this the best you got? This would be worth arguing if you weren't such a fraud.

RE: I just went over

I don't find a correlated game that you are quoting for this season. The fewest passes thrown has been 22 vs GB, the fewest yards is 146, also GB and the fewest completions is 9 at GB, the next fewest being 12 at MN.

I agree that his numbers weren't that bad over the last few weeks, in total. If you game log it, Brooks has progressively regressed all season. More importantly, as each game progresses, his numbers get worse. He gets worse the more passes he throws. He gets worse if the game gets close. He gets worse in Saints territory. He uses his running ability more than twice as often when behind as ahead and he's worse at running when behind. This season, Brooks' numbers are only good in the 1st quarter. After that, he's more likely to throw an interception or fumble or run backwards into a sack than drive for a TD or FG. And more puzzling, he's more likely to get sacked on first down (12 sacks, or half the current total) than any other down. Just a casual perusal of other NFL QB's indicates that the average get sacked at less than half that rate, and the only qb to be sacked close to as much as AB on first down is Carr. That stat alone speaks to decision making (as do the yards per sack).

I'm on a roll here. Give me some more time and I'll convince Bush to invade San Antonio to depose the evil mass (hope) murdering AB.

saintswhodi 11-14-2005 09:16 AM

xan, you missed the WHOLE point of this post. There are no correlating stats for AB, but go check the game log for the Panthers-Jets game this weekend. You'll find your answer.

Then, go check the board for three weeks for the lack of Jake Delhomme posts from the starter of this thread, accept it as fraud, and move on bro. It's not even worth getting into when the only strategy is to wait for a bad game once every three weeks, and start an argument. Especially when AB gives you ammo week in and week out.

papz 11-14-2005 09:40 AM

Someone is obsessive. I wonder when he's on the crapper or wacking off under his sheets... you think he's thinking about AB too?

saintswhodi 11-14-2005 09:45 AM

No doubt.

BlackandBlue 11-14-2005 09:45 AM

BlackonBlack

Why would you post Delhomme's stats from the Jets game, and claim they're Aaron Brooks'? Before I even read Saintswhod's posti, I went and checked Delhomme's stats first, because this whole post didn't make sense. Now it does.

saintswhodi 11-14-2005 09:48 AM

F-R-A-U-D. That spell it out for you B&B?

xan 11-14-2005 10:21 AM

Thanks whodi. I'm feeling so used. This will be the last time I respond to BonB's posts. He's like OJ, still looking for the real murderer.

saintswhodi 11-14-2005 01:57 PM

Tell me how he screwed up the last 3 weeks, please. Back up what you say for once. you haven't posted ANYHTING about him in three weeks. You're exposed, again. F-R-A-U-D. And how would you know what ANYONE has been doing for two years on THIS forum? I haven't been here two years, and definitely neither have you. Again, F-R-A-U-D.

But please, explain to us what game Jake Delhomme screwed up "every week" that has cost his team? He didn't have a turnover last week, or the week before, but he has 4 TDs in that time. His passer rating on the year is 90.2, Brooks' is 66.6. Never mind. You have been exposed enough. Sad everyone here knows it.

saintswhodi 11-14-2005 02:10 PM

I'm sorry, you said EVERY WEEK. Not two weeks. Show us where he screws up EVERY WEEK, like you said, or accept being a fraud.

Show me also where I have said something for over two years, when I have only been here a little over one. Back up what you say. It shouldn't be hard, you do believe what you say right?

saintswhodi 11-14-2005 02:12 PM

LMAO. You put one game where he threw three TDs, but had an INT and a fumble, they still won, and he HURT his team? This is getting sad. But every week remember? Come on, I am sure somewhere, somehow you can prove that right? Every week?

BlackandBlue 11-14-2005 02:14 PM

So, you type a post, knowingly include false information, in order to prove a point?

I wouldn't reply to you either.

saintswhodi 11-14-2005 02:19 PM

I'm still waiting for Jake screwing up every week(hell one of those weeks he posted Jake threw 3 TDs. That's just sad). I am also still waiting for who has said something over two years since it can't possibly be me, and how blackonblack would know something was said for over two years when he hasn't been here that long. This is pathetic.

BlackandBlue 11-14-2005 02:23 PM

Dude, you haven't been right since you got here...

I've allowed your pointless posts to continue, regardless of the lack of sanity. You're all, "come get some," based off transparent declarations, meaningless voids of creative thinking....you're like the Ken Lay of BlackandGold.net.

saintswhodi 11-14-2005 02:23 PM

LMAO!!! So now, the offseason is over two years? Dude you would do better just keeping quiet. If Jake was brought up more than normal, it's ONLY cause as you have shown everyone, youw ill bring him up EVERY DAY if you can, no matter the thread or topic. You are only outting yourself. But let's just look at this thread and see what you have said:

Quote:

Brooks's numbers for a game a few weeks ago, and I have to say they weren't that bad to keep the Saints from winning. I'm just caught off guard and the reaction in here.

10-20/ 119 yards/ 1TD/2 INT...not really that bad?
Lie.

Quote:

Because I want you and others to explain to me, how every week a certain QB can kill his team and they still win despite him?

Lie.

Quote:

But who was it in this forum 24/7 for over 2 years Jake,Jake, Jake, Jake?
Lie.

Quote:

Jake is the prime example of where a QB can screw-up every week weekend and out, yet if you're on a good team you'll still win.

Lie.

Quote:

Do I need to get the MOD'S to archive this past offseason?? are will you fess-up to what was your topic each and everyday you logged-on in here?
Lie. Anything else? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've backed up what I said and triple covered it. Come get some
You're right. AB is the man. He is awesome.

7 TD, 12 picks. 54 % completions. Sorry, dude. You don't have a case.

Jake benefits from being on a better team, with better coaches and his mistakes hurt less because of that. Great. Who cares. We are 2-7 and our QB hasn't done anything to make us any better. The pick he threw to Harris was one of the worst passes I have ever seen. The offense was woeful against so many teams and it goes back to the QB.

Get over it man. Do you just like the negative attention? It's pathetic. You haven't backed up anything and there is no "some" for anybody to come get, because you have hitched your wagon to a dead horse.

papz 11-14-2005 02:34 PM

Can you imagine this guy sitting in a corner... talking to himself in front of a mirror? That would be priceless.

yasoon 11-14-2005 02:42 PM

Here, let me come get some.

Some fun FACTS:

Kyle Orton ROOKIE/Bears: better completion percentage, same number of tds, 2 less picks.

Brooks has the 3rd most picks in the NFC.

Joey Harrington has better numbers (he's being run out of Detroit because his numbers are so bad).

Brian Griese has the same number of TDs and 5 less picks

Josh McCown/Rattay/Jamie Martin/Vick/Warner/Simms/Brad Johnson just some of the stellar passers rated higher than brooks

But, none of this matters, because the O line is so bad. The O-Line causes Brooks to hit DBs in the chest after a 3 step drop. The O line causes brooks to throw into triple coverage. The O line causes Brooks to run backwards rather than stppeing into the pocket.

BlackandBlue 11-14-2005 02:42 PM

So you're saying the fact finding posts i've posted are insane? pointless that what the knuckles say is the cause of the Saints problems, actually happens on other teams yet it doesn't undermine them and causes a loss? that pointless for me to point out?
Facts? What facts? I could point to a pile of ****, and claim, "it is a fact that this is a pile of gold"

It's still a pile of ****

Quote:

Because you might dislike me or whatever I'm right and you don't decide if I post here I do...
No, you're missing a few crayons in that box of yours. I don't dislike anyone on this board, regardless of whether you are right or you "think" you are right.

xan 11-14-2005 02:46 PM

OK, one last bite BonB. As a comparison of JD to AB, JD is a winner and AB is a loser. Absolute records show that to be the case (JD 25/16 vs AB at 37/42). Oh, and look, JD has gotten better every year as a starter (based on rating). Too bad for your boy, slipping 10-15% a year. And gee whiz, who went to the Super Bowl and almost won it??? Recently! Who's the favorite to go to the Super Bowl this year?? Not your butt buddy AB. Who makes retard plays EVERY week? your buddy AB! Who has more weapons at his disposal? - Why, again, your buddy AB!

This team has taken on the personality of its qb, as does every team. AB is a flatist filled bobble head who give people with feces for brains a bad name. Inconsistent, prone to unfathomable mistakes at the most inopportune moment, and with that devil may care - I've got my money so you all can F&$k off - attitude.

Say, you might know this, being AB's butt buddy, how many posts on the Carolina fan sites say that they're frustrated not having AB on their team instead of Jake? (That you yourself did not put there under any alias.)

LordOfEntropy 11-14-2005 04:01 PM

Or course he misses it. I knew that the moment I saw him lurking in the login list. How could anyone not miss this supra-informative discussion?

Good to see ya JoeSam. How's the old body holding up? Unfortunately this football season has taken its unhealthy toll on mine.

yasoon 11-14-2005 04:37 PM

Quote:

countless, never has it been said that the QB's persona dictates the teams play.
False.

And even with Jake's scaled back role, he is more productive than your boy. So, that doesn't exactly work for your silly little argument either.

Culpepper is the only guy who sucked anywhere near as bad as AB this year.

Aaron Brooks is a stinky person. His QB play smells like my taint after a 4 hour horseback ride and a trip to the steam room. His psyche is fragile, his reads are weak, he is unaccountable, he has the leadership abilities of a girl scout, and despite being very tall and having big feet, he has a tiny little pee-pee.

Everything you said was garbage material, nothing was fact all garbage.
Dad lets me drive in the driveway, but only on Wednesdays.

Are you saying that you don't believe I have done a series of tests to prove that ABs play smells like my taint after a horseback ride? Some people just can't handle empirical data.
:poke:

yasoon 11-14-2005 05:10 PM

Quote:

Show me the quote, that says the team takes on the persona of the QB...
Just for fun:

Al Groh on Vinny Testaverde: "He did a very good job. He gives this team heart. He is a competitor and it rubs off on the other players. The team takes on the personality of the quarterback."

Jake Plummer's college coach:

"I've heard a number of other coaches talking about the
team taking on the personality of the quarterback," Snyder said. "In
our case Jake Plummer's personality has taken over the team."

On the Cowboy's QB situation last year:

It's always important that the quarterback position be settled. The offense tends to be more cohesive when the players know who's going to be in charge in the huddle, and the personality of the quarterback shapes the way the offense runs.

On Joey Harrington:

The offense's strategy and execution should assume the personality of the quarterback, but the Lions have difficulty finding their stride because their leader hasn't found his offensive voice.

(This last one sounds very familiar.)

Crazy talk....right?

You want some more? Let me know, sweetheart. Come get some.

yasoon 11-14-2005 05:13 PM

Quote:

I've got 38 years of Saints data pre Brooks to back me up.
But I'm only 31, so you couldn't possibly compare those first seven teams to the distinct aroma of my sweaty taint. Seriously, this is science, not just some drunk guy at a bar you're talking to :bounce:

JOESAM2002 11-15-2005 04:24 PM

I'm doing fine, thanks for asking. This year has taken it's toll on all of us i'm sure. Maybe one day I will be blessed to see a good Saints team, one worthy of calling itself a professional football team, before I die.

p.s. And NO, I don't miss it! The beach takes up too much of my time, and beer drinking of course!

LordOfEntropy 11-15-2005 05:12 PM

Glad to hear your still kicking man.

Hold on for a few more years JoeSam. We'll finally see a winning Saints team shortly after they either a) move to Los Angeles or b) get sold and replace the front office or c) both. With all the things currently going on, it wouldn't exactly be a shocker to see any of these possiblities happen relatively soon.

So... sitting on the beach? Drinking beer? Watching bikinis bounce to volleyball? For real? You'd prefer doing that over babysitting on this board? Phreak.

Have one for me.
