If Haz goes, who will replace him

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; If Haz and company are given the ax at the end of this season, who will replace him? Kirk Ferentz = Iowa, is he ready for the NFL? Jim Fassell = should he get another chance? Monte Kiffin = too ...

Kirk Ferentz = Iowa, is he ready for the NFL?

Jim Fassell = should he get another chance?

Monte Kiffin = too old

Gary Kubiak = got Jake Plummer to play some football. He was a front runner before Haslet got here.

Kubiak is my favorite. Can't think of any REAL potentials right now. Don't see Pete Carroll leaving USC to go to the Saints. No way. Would be the worst move of his career unless he had complete control which Benson would never give him.

This could be the year coach Stoops leaves Oklahoma with his team down a little bit.

I would love to see Jeff Fisher in New Orleans. Problem is, if the Titans did release him Benson wouldn't pick him up. He'd probably say "Who the heck is Jeff Fisher?"

Hmmmm Fisher, didn't even think about him. Do you think the Titans would let him go? I though he was a great coach but I havn't followed them lately.

His stock was real high for years after the Superbowl in what was it 2000? I'd take him.

Didn't we have this conversation in another thread? Fisher won't be available, Mack Brown sucks, and I wouldn't be surprised if Haz came back next year citing Katrina as an excuse for this year's failures.

Sorry I haven't been on the net in so long, been chopping out dry wall. I missed a lot or maybe not.

I wouldn't want Mack Brown at all either. Lots of people from Texas tell me he blows the big game, like he will this year if he plays for the nat'l championship. I'd rather see the game that everyone wants to see, LSU vs. USC, but it looks like that won't happen. I'm a Green Wave fan (which is even harder than being a Saints fan) and even I would rather see LSU vs USC anyday over UT and USC.

Fassell's the man. I think he deserves another change and would be a great coach but Benson would never hire him because he would talk back to much.
