Is anyone else feeling a dual sense of satisfaction and disgust over tonight's Saints' win?

I'm not saying that this was a franchise defining moment, beating a team that is 4 quarters short of a dollar, but the play was solid. Not great, but solid.

Then again, struggling to beat this Jets' team, even on the road (like every other game), is not a great accomplishment. And the Saints' tried to give it away. But the consumate professionals that the Jets are, they wouldn't hear of letting the Saints get a higher draft pick on their watch. It makes more sense to resurrect the Jets in the nation's #1 market with Reggie Bush or Matt Leinart than it would be to let the nomadic Benson Saints have a shot.

And damn Aaron Brooks for playing like he had a clue. I guess that given the dearth of posting so soon after the win, AB, I mean BonB, was too tired to hit a few keys to let us know how great he was.

.. I have no conflict whatsoever, because I don't really care anymore what happens next year. I do believe that the talk from the NFL is nothing but hot air and that the Saints are not going to be in New Orleans much longer...

.. at any rate, take it for what's worth.. a midly entertaining game between 2 bad teams, which your team won.

.. in the end, the offense could not put the game away with a 3rd down convertion, and it took a bad snap to get the Jets out field goal range... SOS...
