Someone else wants Kubiak?

It appears that Kubiak may rejoin Reeves in Houston:

Texans will interview Broncos assistant Kubiak
Jan. 2, 2006
CBS SportsLine.com wire reports

DENVER -- Broncos offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak will be interviewed by Texans owner Bob McNair later this week about replacing Dom Capers.

Denver coach Mike Shanahan said McNair contacted him Monday and planned a trip to Denver later this week. The Broncos have a bye week. NFL rules allow assistants of playoff teams in their bye week to be interviewed once by teams looking for coaches.

I think he would be a good fit for us and if not him Mr. Fassell.

RE: Someone else wants Kubiak?

I'm really think Mike Tice would be a good coach for the Saints Why you ask, CheramieIII?
Well he made a bad season turn out to be a alright season which we have not had in a while and we need someone who can rally our team up, Mike Tice i think would do well.

I like Kubiak, I think Sherman might not be a bad choice, Fassel might be a good fit as well, I think Mike Tice has a bright future in the league ahead of him when he lands a new spot we might as well take advantage...

What about Jimbo Fisher, I know I am such a darn Homer...

RE: Someone else wants Kubiak?

What about some other college candidates?

Mike Shula, Tommy Tuberville, etc.

How about someone like the Chargers DC Wade PHillips, that Bum Phillips' son if you recall? Interesting carma there...

Hey MordorIV, Kubiak still works for Denver but it won't be long. He will probably land in Houston because of Reeves but I will hope that we get him until the end.

You want the curse to continue?

Looks like Sherman did a bang up job of dismantling a perennial playoff contender.

Well that's who I want to see as head coach, he would bring leadership back to the team, something we haven't had in a very long time, hell Farve thinks highly of Sherman, also the players in Green Bay loved Sherman as a coach, can't really put the bad season this year on Sherman, they lost key players, also in a lot of games this year the Packers only lost by a few points, just think if his team would have been healthy, could have been a totally different outcome..

SHERMAN for coach of the Saints

Go Kubiak!!!!

Want him if you like, but the players here gave Haslett a standing ovation when he announced he was leaving too....

Sherman decided that Green Bay wouldn't compete this year when he let his 2 all pro guards leave. Favre should have retired right then....

I'm sure I'll want someone as coach that I'll regret later too though....

Alot of Packer fans feel that Sherman rode the coat tails of Holmgren for his entire tenure in GB, I'm not saying he did, but they have not gotten past the divisional playoffs since he took over...

One upshot would be that he could bring a young quarterback with him like Nall...We also know that he has the onions to pony up and draft a top college prospect and knows how to look for talent i.e. Ahman Green, Javon Walker, Bubba Franks, Robert Ferguson
