where is the link that tells us he even went to the Texas locker room
Was reported by Dan Patrick, on the Dan Patrick show. Now, I'm no mindreader, but I'm willing to bet that Dan wouldn't put his name out there like that, on national radio, unless it was true. There are some journalists that make statements on air, that I tend to believe, because of their reputation.

Saintswhodi, I'm with you 100% on this. Been on the road for most of the day, so I've had a chance to listen to alot of radio. Despite Young's performance being heralded as one of the greatest in college football history (and deservedly so), many people from Kiper, to Patrick, to Olberman, to Terry Bowden, to Mike & Mike....all had praise for Leinart's performance last night. So where is all this hate coming from?

The waiting drove me mad....
I don't want to hear from those that know...

Vince Young had a marvelous game against a piss poor tackling defense & less than average secondary (not to mention the job done by his awesome offensive line-He could have played chess with himself back there). NFL defenses are a whole new ballgame. They will rush & contain. They are way bigger, stronger, & faster than the defense Young faced last night. I just don't see him doing those type of things against NFL defenses. He won't have that kind of time in the pocket nor will he be able to break away from fast NFL defenses. If anything, if he plays the way he has played in college in the pros, he can look forward to an injury filled career. I'm sorry, but when I watch him I see a faster Daunte Culpepper. I'm not knocking the guy-he's very good. But, I hope he convinced the Texans enough to draft him #1, leaving Reggie Bush or even Leinhart for us at #2. Hell, A.J. Hawk would be great there too!!!!!!!!!

vince young is being said to favor montana, he's right now better than vick, he's right now 10 hands down better than leinart and is still growing and getting better. he was the best qb on the field last night period. leinart couldn't read the defense, his throws were off by leaps and bounds and he's been the qb for 3years vince you would think by the way he played was the long time vet. and in case you didn't know, this wasn't the first time he played that way(v.young) try beating ohio state and michigan again all by him self.

Bingo. Leinart is a great pocket passer, and can show some mobility when he has to. Pocket passers are better in the NFL unless you have Michael Vick speed, which Young doesn't have.

Exactly, he won't be able to do those kinds of things against an NFL defense. Also, his mechanics are awful, and I don't think he can make the throws to beat an NFL defense. And another thing against him being the best QB is that he is supposed to be the dumbest (and most arrogant) football player since Andy Katzenmoyer who couldn't spell C-A-T.

Hey genious, they threw the exact same number of passes. Young completed only one more than Lienart. The difference was how Young ran the ball last night. He won't be doing that in the NFL.

yeah, that's the samething they said about vick, and about cunningham and steve young. vince young showed off his accuarcy looked awsum he did. leinart showed off his underthrows like the one that was picked off. vince young is the legit one not leinart.

ROFLMFAO

Really? Who said that Vick, Cunningham, and Steve Young threw the same amount of passes, and only completed one less than Vince in a championship game? That might be the most confusing statement I have ever read.

OK, except Michael Vick can run sub 4.3 and VY can't. He's also way more elusive than VY.

Cunningham had a great arm and was very accurate. VY has awful mechanics. Cunningham also knew how to read, unlike VY.

Steve Young is one of the greatest passers ever. VY doesn't make great plays through the air, he makes them on the ground. He's been so successful because the option works in college because players aren't fast enough to stop it, but believe me, he won't be running like that in the NFL.

leinart showed off his underthrows like the one that was picked off.
He underthrew one ball, and it still would have been a touchdown if it hadn't been for an AMAZING grab by the Texas defender. And he did throw an interception. But he also threw a touchdown pass, threw for 98 more yards than VY (including 4 more yards per completion), and completed 72.5% of his passes; all of this coming against one of the best defenses in the coutnry. Meanwhile, VY had a decent game through the air with 267 yards and no touchdowns against a mediocre-at-best defense.
