Good question, Michael. I think Leinart's arm is significantly stronger than White's was. Leinart doesn't have a cannon, but he has the ability to get the ball deep with accuracy. I think any team would be lucky to have him as their quarterback of the future.

Another vote for Leinart. :D

Whodi, why would you want to have a quarterback of the future in the first round, and then a stud LB with the 34th pick when you can have Kerry Collins as our QB next year along with two rookie LBs?

Key word gentleman is the "FUTURE". I am so glad both of you think that we have another 2 or 3 years to turn the franchise into a winner, because we don't. You can post as many stories as you want to saying that Leinart will be a QB of the Future and that doesn't make it so and you know there are stories out there to saying "Buyer Beware".

Yeah i'm sure fans will come to see Leinart the first few games but if we aren't winning they'll stop coming. Then the Saints to L.A. rumors will kick up even more than they are today. We need to ask ourselves what's the best way to improve the entire team and not just QB.

This is exactly what I have been trying to say GT. Some are worried about the future while we know we need to win to keep the fan base interest up.
