Home: Atlanta, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia, Washington, San Francisco, Baltimore, Cincinnati
Away: Atlanta, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Dallas, N.Y. Giants, Green Bay, Cleveland, Pittsburgh

Under the scheduling formula for the 2002-09 seasons, every team within a division will play 16 games as follows:

Home and away against its three division opponents (6 games).

The four teams from another division within its conference on a rotating three-year cycle (4 games). The 2006 intraconference division matchups are: AFC East-AFC South; AFC North-AFC West; NFC East-NFC South; NFC North-NFC West.

The four teams from a division in the other conference on a rotating four-year cycle (4 games). The 2006 interconference division matchups are: AFC East-NFC East; AFC North-NFC South; AFC South-NFC North; AFC West-NFC West.

Two intraconference games based on the prior year's standings (2 games). These games will match a first-place team against the first-place teams in the two same-conference divisions the team is not scheduled to play that season. The second-place, third-place, and fourth-place teams in a conference will be matched in the same way each year.

After seeing that schedule, maybe we could wait until next year & draft QB Brady Quinn.

I was reading the other day and saw that we had the toughest schedule of any team next year. I'll find it and come back.

gandhi1007 01-24-2006 07:19 PM

Yep, Tags loves us!!!!

jergensl 01-24-2006 07:23 PM

and the Saints are number one in something!!!!

That is a rough schedule... Looks like I get to see another Saints vs Giants game this year... atleast this time the schedule says its a road game. That was a crock last year, I was there and had stuff thrown at me after Horn's td... some home game. Tag's should do a 180 from last year and move that game to NO, give us 9 home games, hahaha

gandhi1007 01-24-2006 07:35 PM

Man, we might end up with the #1 overall pick in next year's draft!

CheramieIII 01-24-2006 07:35 PM

The powers that be probably didn't even notice :bs: that we have 9 games against playoff teams and 1 superbowl team. When the odds are against you and your back is against the wall, you come out fighting because all that can happen is you lose. That's when you start winning.

Uhmm Cher.... When do we actually start winning? All these years of lousy teams & we haven't come out fighting yet. Hell, we're more like the real Gandhi...just keep taking beating after beating without throwing a punch in hopes that it will get better.

But at least everyone remembers Gandhi, everyone will forget the superbowls winners or the best teams ever, but sometime is our time and that time maybe coming around. The odds say so!

Seattle making the super bowl gave me hope... hey maybe we'll pull what we did in 2002 when we beat every playoff team and good team on our schedule but couldn't beat the crappy teams... with our schedule, we do that and we're in the playoffs... hey i can hope, lol
