Seahawks 28-17

SaintsJam 01-24-2006 06:33 PM

Seahawks 24
Steelers 13

papz 01-24-2006 06:50 PM

It's going to be a good game... Shaun Alexander against that Pitt D should be a very exciting matchup to watch. I want to go with Pitt's D for the win, but I think Alexander is going to be too much for them. Shaun excels in nationally televised games... and it doesn't get bigger than the Superbowl. I'll take Shaun inc. over Pitt... 27-20

CheramieIII 01-24-2006 06:59 PM

Hey Saintsjam, where you been hiding? Come on dude you know you want to post some more and don't let some of these guys and gals intimidate you. Welcome and keep posting!

jergensl 01-24-2006 07:10 PM

steelers 28
seahawks 24

CheramieIII 01-24-2006 07:12 PM

Hey jergensl, you da man. Going against the grain. I LOVE IT!

:cheering: :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

gandhi1007 01-24-2006 07:14 PM

Pittsburgh 24
Seattle 13

CheramieIII 01-24-2006 07:15 PM

Oh shiiiiittt, Ali G thinks the bus is not the short one!

gandhi1007 01-24-2006 07:18 PM

It's gonna' be hard for Totupu & those other small LB's to tackle a 290 lbs. RB. And as much as I dislike Pittsburgh, that defense is physical & the refs have been letting them play.

:pink:

jergensl 01-24-2006 07:20 PM

the bus is such a classy guy. i really want to see him win a super bowl in his hometown before he retires. that would be such a great story. cower has been such a great coach over the years and he too deserves to win a super bowl. i would also like to see big ben (from my area) lead his team to a super bowl victory to show everyone that a 2nd year qb can do it.

all this is hard for me since i REALLY do not like the steelers.

gandhi1007 01-24-2006 07:23 PM

If the Bus was around 280-290 lbs. against Denver, what do you think he'll way after spending all that time at his mom's house in Detroit? I'm guessing 300+ lbs.

CheramieIII 01-24-2006 07:53 PM

Pittsburgh record in Detroit against the Lions (who suck)and they are also 1-1 this past season indoors, what makes you think they can win:
12-7-86 Pit L 17-27
10-1-89 DET L 3-23
11-15-92 Pit L 14-17
9-3-95 Pit L 20-23
11-26-98 DET W 19-16 (ot)
Look at the scores of the game before you answer. They caught Indy off guard and nothing more.

gandhi1007 01-24-2006 07:55 PM

Hey, I'm pulling for Seattle. I mean they were almost as pathetic as us. But something tells me that Pittsburgh will be the more physical team.

D_it_up 01-24-2006 07:59 PM

Here's my prediction:

Steelers 26 Seahawks 20

This is going to be one EXCELLENT football game.

LongTimeFan 01-24-2006 08:04 PM

Steelers 36 Seahawks 17, not much of a game if you ask me, one reason the Steelers are so good is because Big Ben is playing well making good decisions, to be honest I don't think any NFC team could beat anyone in the AFC much less the Steelers.

Milians 01-24-2006 10:43 PM

Steelers 24 Seahawks 21. Bettis scores winning td in the last minute.

They are playing the Lions in the Superbowl?? Gee, I thought it was the Seahawks...

..you cannot possibly be throwing Steelers-Lions scores from 20 years ago and pressume they have any bearing on the upcoming game... yeah, Big Ben is the second coming of Bobby Brister... besides, they played in Pontiac, not Detroit, so there.

...they didn't catch Indy off-guard... they smacked them around and took their candy.
... did they catch Denver off-guard too??
... did they catch Cincy off-guard too??

Rsanders24 01-25-2006 12:42 AM

Seahawks 34
Steelers 24

The Seahawks defense has been playing excellent football lately and their offense is more explosive than the Steelers. So, if they can score first I don't think they will have any problems with the Steelers.

xan 01-25-2006 07:34 AM

Steelers 41 'Hawks 24

This will be a laugher. Cowher's going to have the Pitt D in pulverize mode.

FanNJ 01-25-2006 08:18 AM

Steelers 27
Sea Pigeons 17

Steelers D is just too good and Seatle's D is way over hyped.

I was only showing those games because they were in a dome stadium, not because they played the Lions and the Lions have always sucked that is another reason why I posted it.

Denver's QB sucks that why they lost.
Cincy doesn't have alot of playoff experience the last 10 or 20 years

Euphoria 01-25-2006 10:31 AM

Steelers vs Seahawks... my first guess is the team with the S as the first letter in there name wins.

TallySaint 01-25-2006 10:56 AM

I really have no idea who will win. Heck, I was excited about last weekend's games 'cause they were gonna be so close.

I really like Cowher..... and it'd be cool to see Seattle win a Super Bowl.

Just looking forward to a good, close game. :?

I'd like to see them win, but the sea chickens are fixing to take a beat down!
