You didn\'t get me \'cause I check kffl before I get on this board. However according to the draft pick value chart, the deal wouldn\'t be so bad. The cummulative value of the four picks (including the non-existant #78) is 2410 points. The Saints win the SuperBowl next year (for sure!), so that pick in the second round is worth 270 points. If whoever we get the second round pick from next year (sorry, I forgot) does very well next year the deal is actually in favor of the Saints.
And yes, I\'m not a big fan of the Draft Pick Value Chart.

What are you smoking, a not so bad deal? I don\'t think newman or grossman is worth Donte, Grant, Bentley and Allen who we drafted last year. That\'s 3 starters and maybe Allen if he starts this year. Plus 2 second rounders next year! No way, this trade is bogus, Haz isn\'t that stupid (????).

yes, this trade was bogus, but it was all just a lesson on how rumors can easily start but it finally got some life out of you guys also.....

p.s. the reason that i used #78 was b/c i looked on a mock draft, and in its 3rd round, it showed us as having that pick, and it said it was the one we acquired in the trade with KC last year

so dont beleive every thing u hear, most of it, is B/S!!!

Too funny! LOL looks like it got the blood pressure up on you guys. This got cooked up last night in the chat room. Looks like you guys need to come in the room more often lol. Well, now on to the draft. Let\'s get in the room early on Sat. and keep up with the draft. You never know, they might just draft Grossman lol. :P

P.S. Halo can I have possum on the half shell (armadillo) instead of neutria? I\'m alergic to swamp rat. LOL

I don\'t smoke. Actually I was trying to be sarcastic and showing how the use of the Draft Pick Value Chart doesn\'t tell the whole story. Everything depends on the players that are available in the draft. According to the DPVC the deal is not so bad, yet we all agree it would be insane to make this deal.
