Combine workouts on NFL network

If anyone is watching, how can you not be impressed with Cutler. The guy is a quarterback and is lifting as much as the offensive linemen. Mangold looks like a beast and definately has the attitude. Only thing that did look good about him is that he only did one more rep than Cutler. Leinart's interview went well... I can't wait til we announce his name on draft day. One interesting thing I took notice to was when Kubiak was doing his interview on who he was going to select with the first pick, he only mentioned Bush, Young, and maybe a left tackle. He didn't even know D'Brick's name and didn't even mention Leinart. Odd.

I saw... impressed. I also noticed Young's wing-span looked rather longer than Young. I like having a McNair type QB in NO though.

Big arm and mobile... that's why we have Adrian on our team.

And I have a good feeling why.....Kubiak brought up Bush, because that is who they are going to choose. He brought up D'Brickshaw's name because the Texans really need O-line help. The Texans aren't going to choose a QB because they've set on Carr. He brought up Young's name mainly because he's a Houston native. Had he brought up Leinart's name and not Young's, Houstonites would already be calling for his head.

any one watching the players workout besides the the QB's? QB's are sunday. I am impressed with an OT Daryn Colledge, Boise State. he has and can play any position on the line except center. Good speed, feet, and size. Jeremy Trueblood, Boston College, looked good also.
RB's i was impressed with was Taureen Henderson Texas Tech but a late round speciality player. he has hands.

Joseph Addai of LSU has just put himself into the 1st round with a 4.37 forty time. As he was already known as a great power runner, that time surprised even us LSU fans. Congrats Joe!!! Winston outperformed most other O-line prospects in the drills & had the fastest 40 time by an O-lineman. Seems like his knee has healed up well. Another good performance was put up by Maurice Drew-RB UCLA (4.41 forty time). If Addai should slip & Bobby Carpenter is gone, I wouldn't mind picking Addai up in the 2nd. Hard runner with break away speed-Sounds like Deuce's 1st season as starter. This could provide a spark along with Leinart.

I can't believe Skyler Green only ran a 4.44. I know that's actually decent speed, but come on man, you're faster than that. I have to say I'm a little disapointed.

Skyler Green = 5th rounder or less.

I was impressed with Boston College's center Ross... I think he would make a good 4th round pick for us if he were to be there. I think he can start right away. Also the lineman last named Chester looked pretty good too. Anyone else notice how big the wide receivers are? They are not only big, they're fast... and they all look like linebackers out there. I wasn't a big Michael Huff fan but the more he talks, I more like I him... though we don't need a safety (or is he a corner?). I had Hagan's as a late first or second rounder but with the 4.4 40 he ran, he and Chad Jackson are easily going to go early in the draft. On Addai, I have him pegged as a late first to Indy replacing Edge... he would be a perfect fit for them. He helped himself a great deal with those workouts... very impressive.

I will agreee I am impressed. He shows no fear, when asked why he was throwing at the combine he said, Why shouldn't I? I think I know how I have been doing it for 17 years.

My years might have been off but you get the drift. Cutler has increased his draft stock and could definately be taken before Young. However there have been more than one work-out wonder to go through the combine. Not saying his 4.77 40 time is amazing, but 25 on 225 doesn't really help a QB unless he is shedding a tackle or throwing off balance maybe. I would rather see my QB flinging it OB or holding the ball in those situations.
