my first choice is to take leinart with the first pick, but her eis another option that i could be very happy with....

sign patrick ramsey in free agency...swap 1st round picks with the jets(if they are dumb enough to do this) and take their 2nd and 3rd this year. with their 1st round pick take hawk...with our second take mangold at center...with their second take another young lb...then take best value with the 3rd.

meanwhile...keep developing amac to see if he can be the qb for our future...if not ramsey should be able to fill in for awhile.

I would rather see us sign Brees and then draft AJ Hawk.
Or sign Witherspoon or Peterson and draft Leianrt.

that injury for brees scares the hell out of me. we should have offered the vikes arron and a pick for pepper

Forget the possibility of the Vikings signing free-agent quarterback Drew Brees of the Chargers. Word within NFL circles is that Brees' surgically repaired shoulder was more damaged than many people know. Quarterbacks who might intrigue the Vikings would seem to be Aaron Brooks of the Saints and Brian Griese of the Buccaneers.

swapping within the top 5 wont get you a 1,2.and 3 this year. Probly 1 and 3 this year. maybe a 2 next year if lucky but a another 3 is a better bet. They will probly try to dump Abraham as part of the deal. If that is the case then kiss the 2 and two 3's good bye.
Brees is very riskie, so is Caulpepper. I really do not want either one. I would go with Ramsey he would cost a 5 this year and a conditional pick next year that could go up to a 3 in 2007.
Matt Schaub is my pick for a #2 picktrade down out of the top 5 with i hope 2 moves but stay in the top 10.
Move 1 could get you the Brick, Jay or AJ plus a high 3 maybe even a 2 this year.
Moving out of the top 5 would land you the most picks. AJ , Brodrick Bunkley, or Vernon Davis.
I would not mind any of the above given the picks associated with them

schaub won't happen, so you can forget about it. the falcons would be crucified in the press if they traded to a divisional rival.

Culpepper's injury concerns me more than Brees, but that's not saying alot. I've heard conflicting reports on the nature of Brees' injuries, but I heard as early as yesterday that he will be ready in time for camp.

I'm not oppposed to trading out of the #2 overall pick, as long as it's worth missing out on Lienart.

given his performance at the combine, i think mangold has successfully pushed his draft status up to the bottom of the first round, which is disconcerting to me, as i was hoping he would be there for our #2. the good news is, there are some linebackers, like Carpenter or Hodge, who will be there for our #2.

	The waiting drove me mad.... I don't want to hear from those that know... Everything has changed, absolutely nothing's changed Eddie is a....draftnik?
