McCown Could be for the Best

6-4/213 with 4 years of experience playing for a cheaper owner than Benson and from a tiny college, Sam Houston State sounds perfect for Payton and the saints. Most QB take 3 to 4 years to develop from big time programs. He does throw a nice ball, hitting receivers in stride when in rhythm. He is capable of putting up the numbers and most important he knows what it is like to play without a line. He does have some upside.
He is use to the **** and could handle it here. Besides the cards owner is cheaper than Benson so it would be a step up for him.
I would love to give him a chance. Give him the 3-4 year deal at 4 to 5 million per and see what happens.

And his brother has local ties to the state....went to school at LA Tech. Would be funny to Josh beat the Bucs who his brother is playing for now. I'd still take Leinart or Brees first.

Josh isn't a bad QB, I wouldn't mind having him in N.O but their are a few QB's I'd like to see here before we would consider signing him, Brees, Young, Lienart, though even if we sign one mentioned I still would like to have him on the team as a backup which would never happen.
I'd take one Josh over 20 Brooks QB's.
Can you beleive where E. James signed?, the Cards, I really feel sorry for the Edge.
