RE: is there a media bias

I noticed that too spk. Clayton and Salisbury said that Culpepper was the better choice. However, I just don't get this. The guy tore THREE ligaments in his knee, and is coming off a season where he was absolutely horrid without his main man Randy Moss. Brees has been a solid performer for several years now. Sure, I think they have the right to be wary of his shoulder problems, but the bias seems to be a little ridiculous.

the media and new orleans never did really get along, except it was to exploit the city as in the katrina aftermath

there is no doubt. early in the week it was all about how pepper had three torn ligaments and noone was sure how he would be because of it. now since the moment the dolphins signed him it is all about brees shoulder and how they didn't like whatbthe doctors saw. i don't buy it. i think that brees wanted to go there but wouldn't come off his number and the saints got him

MUCHO BS.

I mean stuffedpepper tears three ligaments and looks horrid without Randy pulling half the defense to one side of the field. With Randy ever notice how many jump balls Stuffedpepper threw to him? I hardly ever saw a nice floating ball deep over the shoulder by him. I am sorry but I think this is another so so QB going to Miami for a 2nd round pick. Better than the last of AJ feely but still Stuffedpepper is not that good.

i think that is probably true. you should nsee on the nfl blitz how much attention pepper and the dolphins are getting. as for brees and the saints all they do is give you a couple of sentences. they had an inside guy from the dolphins on and now they are having a guy from dallas in but noone from new orleans. i am not even talking about coaches. just media guys.

RE: is there a media bias

LOL....Is anyone surprised? I'm certainly not. The Saints aren't exactly media darlings. Never have been, never will be. The Dolphins entire receiving corps is weaker than what the Vikings had last season as far as depth. Sure Chris Chambers broke out, but he's still no Randy Moss. Culpepper could do nothing with the receivers in Minnesota, but look at what Brad Johnson did. Brees had marginal receivers this season. You can't count Gates and LT because they aren't wide receivers, but Brees still had a pretty damn good season. I am going to laugh until I piss myself when I see Culpepper looking like Aaron Brooks in Miami. I have now officialy become anti-Dolphin. Screw Nick Saban, Randy Mueller, and the media as a whole.

People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.

...ya think???

... Miami is more glamorous... the history, Saban, Mueller, etc... and anything the madia would say about it, is mere speculation because we will never know what actually went on during the talks...

... I mean, go figure... Culpepper's strength is his size and mobility, yet he has not recuperated from the knee injury... while everyone is speculating and raising flags about Brees' shoulder (including me ) I have not heard much said about Culpepper's knee..

All we have to do is win, then we'll get more love than we really deserve. Ala the Rams or the Patriots
