Ravens | Team not confirming Boulware release
Thu, 16 Mar 2006 15:14:21 -0800

Updating a previous report, the Associated Press, citing NFL.com, reports the Baltimore Ravens have released LB Peter Boulware. The team has not confirmed the transaction, but Boulware is not listed on the Ravens' roster. Boulware creates $1.3 million in savings against the 2006 salary cap.

If he's cut, go get him.

You know it's been quite some time since we've had a linebacker who could rush the passer... I'd definately be interested in bringing him down here. He's not much of a run stuffer but if he could get pressure on the qb for us, he's definately would be worth it... for the right price that is.

We don't run a 3-4. sp Boulware's pass rushing ability would be minimally used for us, if at all. I would pass completely on him.

You're probably right Kelley, but I would still like to see this guy in a Saints uni if his cost comes down.
