Most Improved Teams for 2006?!?!?!

I'm not sure I understand where Gil Brandt is coming from.....

10. At this time, who seem to be the most improved teams for 2006?

A) Cleveland, because of its free-agent signings.

B) St. Louis, because of their acquisitions on defense, which include assistant coaches Jim Haslett and Rick Venturi.

Or maybe I just can't be charitable now that they're gone, but seriously.....

Did Brandt even watch our defense for the last 3 years?

Because he is actually a good position coach. He just can't handle an entire defense.

It has to be true. If he was as bad as we think he is, there's no way he would contiuously be up for jobs and being re-hired. Venturi was even wanted by Nick Saban for a while. Don't let coaches' performance for the Saints a gauge on their actual abilities.

Didn't we think Carl Smith was the worst O-coordinator in history. Now he's the o-coordinator for a playoff-caliber Jacksonville Jaguars squad.
