Howard Bryant, of the Washington Post, reports the New Orleans Saints visited with free agent head chef Michael Newsome (Hooters) Monday, March 20. He has at least one more visit planned.

John Rayner, of the Indiana Plains Dealer, reports the New England Patriots signed free agent head chef Michael Newsome (Hooters) Tuesday, March 21 to a record signing bonus. Newsome says of the deal, "It's a great combo me and Diet Pepsi Machine... I'm proud to be here in New England".
