Dear Members and Saints Fans...

I recently heard from former Saints Executive Vice President, Arnie Fielkow. Arnie indicated he is excited about the prospects for the 2006 season and the Saints return to Louisiana. He also believes that many successful seasons lie ahead and also that the Saints will be able to play a major role in the rebuilding of the New Orleans and Gulf South communities.

As you may know, Arnie is a candidate for the Council-at-large position in the city of New Orleans. He is running a city-wide race, and if elected, will rotate as the New Orleans Council President during the next four years. I am greatly excited about his candidacy and the opportunity he has to help rebuild a city he very much loves. Arnie advised me that the campaign is going well (the election is April 22) and he was honored last week to receive the coveted endorsement from the Alliance for Good Government.

I would like to refer you to Arnie's website, www.fielkow.com, for more information. A detailed section on platform and vision will be displayed within the next week. As you can imagine, his campaign, like all others, is seeking volunteers and financial support as part of what I hope will be a successful race. Dude, we need him on the City Council. If you can donate to his campaign or efforts I strongly encourage it for the rebuilding of New Orleans.
