Mock Draft Compilation

If you can sort through this funky copy n paste you will find an interesting chart. first number is overall rank, 2nd is the overall average of where the player was picked in mocks. after their school is the highest they were picked and the lowest. last how many mocks they were on. it doesn't look like they used 2nd rd numbers for mocks that had them so that is probably why none are lower than 32. DeAngelo Williams had the biggest spread 4-30. Leinart and Bush still look like the surest things at the top. I would like to see NO do a trade down before the draft just cuz there could be something just as enticing (or more so) on draft dy.

Thats why I think we shouldnT waste our #2 pick on another OL. Lets pick up Hawk, that will give us a big name and alot of talent for our defense. We can always get a solid tackle else where in the draft.

yes, 5 tackles that could start ahead of gandy IMO. the problem is they all rate at an avg of 24 or higher. possible but not great odds that any of those would fall to our #34 pick. we do need one badly too. thus, the importance of trading down and getting more picks.

i like hawk a lot too. there are a whole lot more LBs that could start immediately left at pick #34 though. this is a big factor in favoring d'brick over hawk as things stand now.

If you could have Urlacher or Pace right now, who would you take. I think everyone is saying we should pick up da'brick this high is because we will and that way we wont be pissed come april 29. I'm sure he is great and would help a bunch but its time to stop acting like the saints of old and get a kick ass big name on defense. Remember the good old days of the dome patrol, we didn't have half the offense we have now, and we were fired up. Forget the offence for the draft and draft defence. We still could use another corner as well. Thats why i dont think a tackle should be our biggest asset in a draft this big when we could set up one hell of a defense.

Look into D'Qwell Jackson and Abdul Hodge on the inside, Demeco Ryans, Ernie Sims on the outside. They are much better than what usually would be found at #34- Hitters/starters. I don't think they will disappoint. We have already add one sure thing tough nut player in Fujita. Simmons will be quite a story if he is 80% of what he was. He was a first round pick badass mamma jamma. Gandy looked like old man time out there last year. I'll be on edge for our Breesy boy if he is the left side starter in Game One.

Ok we got about 2-3 LOT that will start. the rest are ROT. One Center that can handle big DT/NG, the rest are finesse (zone) at the best. OLB are loaded with WLB just a few SLB. MLB will go in the second to the third. Quality runs about 6 deep.
