I know it sounds pessimistic, but it seems like the same old Benson bulls**t:
Let's do enough to get the fans excited (releasing Brooks & signing Brees) so we can sell tickets, but don't spend too much money. Because after all, it's all about the money. |

Charles Woodson has not signed with anyone. TB did not even make an offer to him. He is going to Greenbay next then Detroit according to SIRIUS NFL RADIO

Maybe because they over paid for Brees, and can't get other high priced players.
