L. Pope if he's there in the second round
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I know it's not likely but would you draft Pope, the TE from Georgia with the second pick in the draft? I know we need some defensive players badly but could you pass on him if he's there?...

I know it's not likely but would you draft Pope, the TE from Georgia with the second pick in the draft? I know we need some defensive players badly but could you pass on him if he's there?

Do you mean second round? Well, even if you do, yes, I could pass on him in a heart beat. We have Zach Hilton who showed flashes of great play. Plus, with a QB who can lead his 6'8" frame instead of twisting him up by throwing it behind him, he should get even better this year.

I'd pass, the draft needs to focus more on D! Besides Antonio Gates went undrafted, FO should watch the Final Four and bring in a power forward or an athletic center for a tryout! LOL!!!!
