this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I know I might get flamed for this.... But the more I read about Cie Grant, the more I like him. He's played all over the field, he's got good speed, he can cover. He's a little small, a little ...

I think I like Cie Grant
I know I might get flamed for this....
But the more I read about Cie Grant, the more I like him. He's played all over the field, he's got good speed, he can cover. He's a little small, a little short - but there's tremendous upside with this kid. Comes from a championship team. He can play the nickel linebacking spot, and that seems like a distinct need with our current LB crew. This kid has the potential to be a star. Add another good LB (Bradie James) and I'll be happy. Failing that, give me a CB or a S, and I might be happy with this draft after all. |

Cie Grant reminds me of Dexter Coakley.
Mesurables: Dexter Coakley Height: 5-10 Weight: 236 lbs. Pos: Linebacker Drafted: 3rd Round Cie Grant Height: 6-0 Weight: 228 lbs. Pos: Linebacker Drafted: 3rd Round He ran 40 times of 4.52 and 4.49, which impressed the scouts. He did 21 benches of 225. |
