3rd and a 4th this year... please read the thread again.
I read the thread before, and no way that is enough for them to get to pick Matt Leinart. The Jets would potentially give us their late first rounder yet taking a 3rd and a 4th is a better deal???? Pass on that without a second thought. Whoever wrote that mock is a joke.

No way Brick falls to 7, this mock is a joke. If we could get Brick at #7 I'd be all for it, but it isn't happening. Jets would take him over Cutler in a second.

Tennessee Titans (Swap 1 w/NO): Matt Leinart, QB, USC
Let's establish one thing first: The Titans really want Matt Leinart because offensive coordinator Norm Chow coached him during the latter stages of his tenure at USC. Tennessee would love to sit comfortably at No. 3 and wait for Leinart to fall in its lap, but the truth is that Leinart is the top-ranked quarterback in this draft, despite Vince Young's amazing performance in the Rose Bowl and Jay Cutler's outstanding workouts. There are plenty of teams -- Oakland, Arizona, Detroit, Baltimore and the Jets to name a few -- that will try to swap selections with the New Orleans Saints. The Titans cannot let that happen.

This is the first of two predicted trades I'm calling for in this draft. In order to move up to No. 2, Tennessee will have to send New Orleans a third- and a fourth-round pick. Since the Titans do not possess a third rounder this year, it will probably deal its 2007 selection. They cannot afford to pass up on Leinart; Steve McNair is close to retirement, while Billy Volek has been inconsistent when he has relieved the team's fragile signal caller.

I can see that hagan... but I'd want a little more than just swapping 1st, a 3rd and 4th rounder. I'm pretty sure someone will make an offer we can't refuse unless we're dead set on draft a player in that slot... say a Bush if he falls to #2.

I can mos def see us trading out w/ Tenn. and then trading again to stockpile picks....but no way in hell we drop past 5 IMO. That puts us right out of the running for impact folks to help us in need spot this year.

Now, trading out with Tenn. and then GB or NYJ, will still net us a player that we need and want, but anything past that, and we are just about to reach for something. I, for one, don't want to bet on Brick or Hawk hopefully being there at 7 when I know they are there at 4 or 5

.....and if we take bush, then I quit and become a baseball fan

Bush at 2 man that would be a boat load of offers. but i would say no and trade donte for a 3 in a heart beat.
But to move up 1 spot 1,3,4 is fair but with the want i would go with 1,2 and 4 next year. Trade out of 34 if MLB is the BPA.
