Couldn't have said it better myself. Brees is going to help us far more than hurt us...and that's already an improvement over...what was his name again???

Seriously, just watching the Playoff win we had against the Rams reminded me of all the bit players that helped get us there. I think the FO has been doing alright for itself...which begs the question, was it Haz that was holding us back with bad decisions? Loomis is a bean counter, but is said to defer to coaches and scouts to get input. Was Haz a bad shopper?

I'm not sure, b/c really the only two guys from that playoff team I missed were Roaf and Leroi Glover. All the other guys we cut ended up not living up to big hype and resulting contracts.

Either way, Brees is a big step in the right direction in my eyes....now on to LB and OL
