METAIRIE — Lifting weights and doing conditioning work nearly six months before the season starts is usually one of the more tedious times of the year for NFL players.

“This is an enjoyable time, cornerback Fred Thomas said. “ with working out?, no one loves to workout, not me anyway.
Oh how things have changed, haven't heard any player say something that positive in a while, could it be their new coach who's getting them excited again?

I'll tell you what...that Bockwaldt kid is turning into one of my favs. I liked him as the late round pick done good fella that ended up starting for us, but sounds kinda like a leader.

Nice post...def. a change from the interviews we had last season. Glad to hear our guys sound upbeat and ready

....and to be reminded that Haz & Venturi are gone

I usually don't pay much attention to what players say... but even if they are just throwing a bone our way, after the last 4 years, I take it

Its actually great to hear. Especially after what I saw on ESPN. Those A!@holes showed a segment on certain events happening in the NFL. One of their topics was how the NFL is still looking for something to happen with Los Angeles. What pissed me off the most about the whole thing was that while the segment was on.....all they showed was Saints footage. I almost threw my shoe at the damn screen. I wish I lived their so I could always show my support for the team in a more direct fashion. I pray that those of you that really do have the power to keep that team there do everything in your power to make it happen so ESPN can STOP associating Los Angeles with the Saints!

BINGO!!
