NFL Power Rankings

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Prisco has NO moving up from 31 to 25 after the bulk of free agency and before the draft. That's a good start. Seems we're not the only ones who think highly of Brees....

RE: NFL Power Rankings

You have to admit, Brees is sending out some positive vibes to the fans and the media. Hopefully the guy can do what we are all hoping and counting on him to do.

I spoke to some of my friends the other day. They laughed and said that Brees isn't going to do anything for the Saints this year.

One of them was a Raider fan..........he didn't laugh. (He made fun of our starting quarterback all of last year.)

RE: NFL Power Rankings

oh brother not this already. Power rankings and ratings suck...its about winning baby. I don't see us at 25??? what does that mean? Someones opinion??? Hey here is one for you Euphoria's Power rankings... has Saints ranked number 2 behind the 49ers. Doesn't mean diddly pooh. In one week we will find ourselves back at 31. We really haven't done that much to improve this team yet.

RE: NFL Power Rankings

I agree Euph, what tangible, on the field improvements have we made, other than releasing "He Who Is Not To Be Named?". We've lost a Pro-Bowl Center, an arguably PB DE, several roll players, including a starting corner. None of the signees, save for Bennet, strike fear in our opponents, and most of our "star" players are coming off of either season ending or career threatening injuries. This team will be young, inexperienced and under a comletely new system.

I'm really not a pessimist, just an expectation manager.
