in my opinion... drafting any Defensive tackle in the first round is just retarted.... how many DTs are game changing players... most just clog up the middle for the DEs and LBs to make the tackles... and most solid DTs are just hard working guys... who hold their man and allow the other guys to make the tackle... i cant think of hardly any guys who were first round DTs who had that big of an impact on their teams defense... plus we have bigger holes to fill anyway...

But if Ngata was our target to fill one of our glaring needs we could get him by trading down about 2 or 3 times and pick up some early second rounders. Not a bad deal in my opinion.

I want to take a DT at some point in the draft but I'm with Pak on this one, top 10 is too high for DT. Plus I feel Ngata is going to bust, I'd take Bunkley over Ngata. I think Vince and Ngata are the 2 guys in the top 10 that are most likely to bust.

With us not going after D'Brick it looks like Vernon Davis will be the pick. Hawk is also a strong contender, but Davis can do what Gates did for Brees and he's a freak. I like Hilton, but Davis is off the charts. As for DT, I say Bunkley is the way to go.

Theres no way we are going after Davis......he's just a big WR, if we want to equal the Gates and Brees success, just throw Lyman or someone at the TE position......Davis cant run block, so his only asset is his catching ability, so hes just a WR, I like Tigersaint31's idea, trade down, get Hawk and get Wroten with our next pick....that fills our 2 biggest holes on D and we still have the rest of the draft for BPA...
