This would be the only Bush I would pass on at number two and would only draft him if I could not find someone to trade alot for him.

I mean...c'mon...what the heck is an injury bug? People get hit. It's a rough sport. Trade down and AJ Hawk or MAYBE EVEN Haloti Ngata. Our best DT is a fat tub of lard who hasn't been on the field all that much. When we take a defensive player in the first round, it'll be much easier to draft a C to replace Bentley because the only sure starter it even seems we have is Brown.

WHAT??? That doesn't even make sense. We would be thelaughing stock of the NFL? If Bush lands at our spot, that would mean the Texans passed on him. Would they be the laughingstock of the NFL too? So we would have two laughingstocks of the NFL. Also, what would make us look like idiots, is to take a player like Bush, after having given Deuce the biggest contract in team history last year. Tying up all that monay LONG -TERM in one position would have other teams rolling in the aisles at how dumb that would be. If we had a NEED for Bush and we passed on him, MAYBE this would have some wings. But since we have zero NEED for him, this doesn't even make sense. If we take him, it's to ransom him to the highest bidder. That's it.

That would pertain to a player who has been injured nearly his entire career, ala Deuce McAllister. College-stayed hurt alot. Pro-Well, you know the answer. What about Michael Bennett? Injury riddled pro career. Here's an example: Deuce McAllister, Michael Bennett, & LaDainian Tomlinson all went pro the same year. Which one didn't get bit by the injury bug? Here's a hint: the other two stayed injured in college too.

I like both McAllister & Bennett, but having a guy who runs a 4.3, has great strength & vision, & can stop & cut on a dime (while breaking DB's ankles in the process) is hard to pass up, especially when he's yet to be injured. I doubt seriously that Houston passes on Bush though.

CBs run 4.3 in the NFL too. And some LBs come close. We'll see how well the adjustment goes.

D'Brick will go in the top 10, no doubt...If we have a shot at Bush at #2 then I say pass and get more for our pick...If we have a shot at bush at #2 then that most likely means that Houston has picked Young, D'Brick or traded out....So with VY off the board I think the Jets and Titans and maybe the Raiders or the Ravens will be blowing up Loomis' Blackberry to move up....With one of the top 3 qb's off the board and at least three teams wanting one of them I think we get a monster deal floated to us for our #2......Dare to DREAM

I will say it again, if Bush is available at number 2, then the trade value for that pick increases dramatically. Someone would have to offer an a**load of picks to move up to get that pick and chances are, someone would (Green Bay). But if the offer isnt there, then the Saints take Bush and have all kinds of fun toys to play around with.

I say use Bush as great leverage to make a trade!!! and use the new picks to load up on D!!! I too am not a fan of drafting a OL in the top-5 I just don't agree with that logic.
