can't block bs

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Where did all this bs come from about Vernon Davis being a horrible blocker? I've read it a few times here lately.......he's not that bad, I'm sitting here watching some footage, trying to figure out why he's so bad....

RE: can

They say it because they've never actually seen him play. Just like the people who say Cutler sucks only because he played for Vanderbilt.

Lately BnB you don't really talk football you just make off the wall comments and I'll tell you what that has to do with your question. I don't think it is a question, because we won't draft a TE anyway. Remember you started the thread. Are you lost dude?

I really think so!

Let me ask a question:

If the world was purple would you be blue? That's the kind of questions you ask, sorry!

i can see your confusion

coming from the guy who wigged out about a year ago because he felt we didn't have enough moderation representation on the boards, and can't understand why he was never made a moderator.

would you have preferred that i humbly accept your post, and carry on with my life without saying a word? Oh, cherry said, "WE DON'T NEED A TE," well, that certainly answers my question as to why people think he is a bad blocker. thanks man, I appreciate YOUR useful information. Now, i believe it's time to go change your Depends, might want to go get on that, old man, before things get messy around here.

The waiting drove me mad....

If we trade out and DBrick and AJ or off the board for some strange reason. I would take him overany other player remaining. Bush DBrick AJ and Davis are the only players in the draft without hype and question marks connected to there name. Believe you me in 3 years time 3 to 4 teams will be laughed at for passing on him. they will be the next additions to the draft blooper reel.

i'm with you there. not that i think the saints will be in a position to pick him, i started piecing my mock draft together last night, and i have the saints selecting ferguson with the 2nd pick. i should have the entire first round posted early next week.

i don't like bad information, and i saw repeated posts stating he was a bad blocker, which is not true. was trying to clear the air, until someone tried to derail this thread.....

Before you two ladies get into another slap fight, i'll give you the Scouts Inc take:

Weaknesses: Possesses less than ideal height and bulk. Is powerful in his upper body but lacks a wide base to anchor as a blocker. Needs to improve his hand-usage, angles and overall technique as a blocker. May never develop into anything more than an H-back that needs to be protected as a blocker in space in the NFL.

So write them an e-mail bud, maybe they can tell you why they feel this way. 8)
