Interesting idea
Trade to Jets for their #4 and second first, than trade to the #4 to #8, Spikes and a 3rd if we can wing it (bc of the not so high jump. So than we will have #8,#29 (I think second 1st for Jets???), 34, Bills 3rd, and Takeo.
So than Draft Ngata #8 Mangold #29 Jean Gilles #34 Bills third take either back up CB,DT,or RB....or even the best Kicker of the group Any way this could happen? Just throwing my two cents in there. I am one of the ones high on Brick, but since the Brown switching I don't see the need to waste a Top 5 pick on a RT, and we do have Stinchcomb. And have Smith switch to CB So than our starting group would be QB-Brees RB-Deuce FB-Karney WR-Horn and Donte' TE-Hilton (I still don't know much about him) OT's-Brown and Stinchcomb OG's-Jean Gilles and Mayberry (or Jacox or osmeone) OC-Mangold DE-Grant and Smith (I still don't wanna trade Grant) DT-Ngata and Young LB's-Spikes, Simmons, and Fijuta (with a pretty good second group) CB-Smith and McKenze S-Scott and Bullocks Only thing I would have a negative about is if a rookie or two doesn't live up to the hype, but I think this group will. Anyone like it? |

RE: Re: RE: Interesting idea
not ready to put him in my top 5, but we'd be foolish to walk away from this. clements alone, to have a corner like that, approaching his prime, is gold. spikes is the cake....
I don't think Buffalo could handle two key players on their defense being let go like that, they already released Milloy and Adams......can't see it. |

If we are getting both of them and the picks, this is a no brainer...hells yeah, three birds with one massive move. But that's the only way I make this move. Not for one or the other...the whole package.
Still, I doubt we get the Bills to bite at that offer. Clements by himself is just about worth the deal. I really think he is a great CB, with serious ball skils. But to pass up the chance at picking in this years top 5, I can't say as I'd do it with out the extra that is Spikes. |
