Donte on the Block Too

Giving receivers

Two other veteran receivers might be available. Detroit might listen to offers for Charles Rogers, and New Orleans would entertain offers for Donte' Stallworth.

It's a weak draft for receivers, so these two could command interest. But neither team would get much in return. Both players have been disappointments on the field and have had off-field issues. But each has the talent to be worth a flier.

id do it... charles rodgers is a much better receiver then stallworth... ive never really liked stallworth from the beginning... he was over hyped at tennessee and he is still over hyped... yea he got speed but he cant catch a cold... rodgers has just been in a bad situation with the lions and breakin his collar bone didnt help him either... a change of venue could do him some good... especially coming to an offense with brees and horn and deuce... i think he would be able to really show what hes got.. much moreso then stallworth

If we got extra picks in the deal I'd say yes....and I mean at least one first day, if not a fourth rounder at a minimum.

Yeah Stallworth has been injured, but if one WR has been more on the DL it's rogers. The production numbers alone warrant the extra picks. Then you throw in the suspension rogers had for testing positive...can't say as Stallworth isn't worth way more than a rogers at this point.

I don't like Rogers, Stallworth on the other hand I do, the Saints need him more so than ever with Brees in town, he appears to be coming around, I want him in N.O for at least one more season which would give us time to find another WR with speed which is a big plus in the NFL, Hopefully Payton can bring Stallworth to the next level.

WTF?!?!?!?!? Rogers better than Stallworth? You sir have officially gone off the reservation. lol Rogers is the most fragile receiver in the NFL? Better than Stallworth? That's crackhead talk. I will be officially pissed if we trade Stallworth. Rogers breaking his collarbone didn't help? Try he did it in consecutive years. Don't even get me started with stats. True. Not only does he have injury problems to keep him off the field, but he also has legal issues that keep him off the field. He's a bad guy, and I don't want him here.

I would trade Stallworth to a WR such as a J. Walker, no way I make a crazy move with Rogers..

I would be in favor of bringing Charles Rogers in. Compensation would be a tricky issue. I think it should be a conditional pick.

Stallworth hasnt proven to be anything special, quite frankly. I wouldn't say that Rogers is better than him, but both have been unremarkable for the most part,, moreso for Rogers. Sinorice Moss would be a good option in the draft to replace Stallworth if he were to fall to 34.
